Hmmm!?

Ate here recently with friends, there were only a few other people in the whole restaurant, even still service was SLOW!? Waited 20mins for drinks, then a further 15 for an order to be taken.. We has been in the nearly empty restaurant for an hr before we got our food, I would expect this if it was... read more

I visited here on the off chance that they would have a table for an off the cuff business meeting. Service was fabulous. The restaurant was busy but the team were working hard to see to everyone's needs. The food was presented wonderfully and the flavours were perfect. We have far to much fun for it to be business and... More

Despite booking via their web site together with a telephone confirmation call they failed record our booking for a party of four. We did however get a table, adjacent to the ladies and over looking the pans and floors being mopped. Although a Saturday night the restaurant was only half and the service was way below acceptable. After 20 mins,... More

The service was attentive, polite and accurate and the wine and starter we of the reasonable standard I normall get from Loch Fyne. Unfortunately the dressed crab stayed with me for hours, which is not the aim of a light early dinner. My colleagues sea bass was quite ok after it had been sent back to the grill for another... This is our dependable restaurant, where we go when we want nice fresh, well presented, well cooked food that's bursting with flavor and served by a friendly team. We like the fact if we are on the way to the cinema and give the waiter our leave time they can accommodate this effortlessly. We are on the mailing list and... More

As much as I enjoy a steak, roast dinner or bacon buttie,I truly think I could be a happy pescatarian if I ate here on a regular basis. The food is cooked to perfection and the service & staff is always excellent. The only reason I didn't give this 5-stars was die to the portion size; for example, the lobsters... More

Food was great but a few service problems which they sorted very quickly, all in all very good meal and value. Mussels and prawns both superb!

Visited with my sister, we had the set men. Food was lovely, well cooked and well presented. I had a fish finger sandwich, not your average sandwich though. It was on very thick bread, and werent like fish fingers more like a battered cod cut into fingers, definitely the best i've had. We asked if they did any kind of... More

We tried somewhere different for a family celebration breakfast (the only time we could get together) and went to Loch Fyne after receiving an email. There is a good selection of traditional and more fish-based choices and we all opted for the Full Scottish. Drinks and toast came quickly but there was a 20 minute wait for the breakfast, but... Four us ate here a few days ago and although the food and service were above average our 'extras' amounted to £1-00 each for half a tomato and £1-00 for an extra mushroom!! Will not be returning as they clearly take their customers for complete idiots.
