Visited to have dinner

Locally famous for its hot stone steak. Maybe due to its cooking style, we had to wait long to be served, but the food was good. The size of table is not that large enough to cover 4 people if everyone is ordering the hot stone steak.

Had a delicious meal at Silvermere with family. The starters were amazing and so much selection. The main was lovely, less choice and portions very generous. Lovely setting by the lake - must be fabulous in the summer. Interior was modern and spacious. Good menu - I had the fish and chips which was excellent. Not a great selection of real ales but the Spitfire was good. The staff were very attentive, helpful, friendly and efficient. In you're in the area, hungry and/or thirsty then give... More

Lovely setting especially in the summer. Food is nice but not as good as it could be which is a shame as it's a lovely menu.

One of the few places one can eat at any time of the day. We often stop for a lunch here and are never disappointed (although the last time we had the fried fish and chips the portion of the fish seemed to be smaller than on previous visits). The staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much trouble.... More

Collecting my elderly father from the south coast and as usual the M25 was solid from Jnct 9 through to Jnct 14 so I suggested we come off the motorway and find this restaurant which had been to a while ago. Drove straight to it and had a very pleasant light lunch. There is a good varied lunch menu, good... More
