Nice pub food

Really good village pub with excellent food We sat outside with our drinks and enjoyed the lovely views Our food was really good. I had chicken stuffed with cream cheese and chives wrapped in pancetta and my husband had ribeye which was done to perfection

This was a nice evening, however the food was certainly nothing to be over the top about and certainly not worth going out of your way to find. Started was a bruscetta with Chorizo, never had it with a pasta sauce on before, was Ok but would not have again. The belly pork dish I had was nothing more than... More

Cosy country pub with good home cooked food. Menu isn't fast but has a good selection though I wasn't impressed with the dessert selection. Service was excellent and friendly. I had the steak and ale pie which was delicious. Definitely go back.

I previously wrote a review critiquing this pub which led to us avoiding it for a while. However, we went back in May for the curry night and it was delicious! We then went back again in June and it was great once again. The only minor issue is that I believe the portion sizes could do with being a... More

We popped in for food here while staying locally for the night. Only ordered mains as we'd had a late lunch. The service was very good; the friendly attentive waitress was happy to help. The seating was fine, for normal midweek pub food, it was nothing you wouldn't expect. The food was really very good! I had the slow cooked... More

We booked to attend the fixed menu on the Sunday for Mother's Day Lunch. Upon arrival we were collected by the staff and taken to our table. The service was of a very high standard and the menu was outstanding. Four of us attended and each had a different starter and a different main course. All were well presented and... More
