We had purchased an offer for a meal, first and main course with a glass of Prosecco. We added water, wine and dessert. The menu was varied and clearly marked items which carried an extra charge. The food was well prepared and delicious. I had salmon to start followed by pork and George had warm duck salad followed by steak.... More

Lovely food with a nice outlook over Dublane. Service good, with friendly staff. Would eat dinner here again but breakfast was a bit of a let down. Buffet cold and coffe far too strong.

Having read very mixed reviews about the Kailyard, I was very pleasantly surprised by the lovely food, efficient service and nicely decorated surroundings. My main course could have been hotter but this was my only (slight) gripe. The food was tasty, not enormous portions but certainly not small and well presented. The service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant had... More

I took my 2 sons and my pregnant daughter in law here on 20 July for Sunday lunch using Itison vouchers. We had booked a table a couple of weeks ahead and I had phoned again to confirm our booking that morning. We handed over the Itison vouchers on arrival and the waitress asked for our names. Then she asked... More

I recently had lunch in this restaurant, as a guest, so I can't comment on value . What I will say is, --there was no atmosphere in the place, dull and uninteresting and full of brown dated furniture, possibly antique, but not my thing ! The tables were haphazardly furnished with cutlery, as if they had been 'shovelled' onto the... More

Food nice, menu very limited and does not vary enough. Very few healthy options. Service generally very good in the restaurant.

Upon checking in to the Doubletree Dunblane, we were asked if we wanted to have the prix fixe dinner in the restaurant. A discount of five pounds was offered at that time which we agreed to since we were tired and did not want to find another restaurant on our first night in the U.K. The food was delicious and... This was an untidy restaurant with guests being shown to tables that had remnants of the last customer's food on the floor under the table. Some of the waiting staff were very scruffy and on several occasions we noticed a female waiter accidentally pour drinks on the table, probably because her hair was all over her face and eyes. There... More

Visited on a Saturday night in June. We had previously had an excellent meal there, so were really looking forward to it. Sadly, both the food & service were disappointing. We waited around 25 minutes before being given anything to drink despite asking 3 times for a jug of water. When someone did eventually bring it, I was told they... More
