Fabulous country club atmosphere, great menu with excellent Nick Nairn signature dishes. Try his burger it really has a bite to it!

Enjoyed our meal at the Kailyard restaurant. Lovely food and excellent, efficient service. The tables are set in such a way so as to give you a certain amount of privacy. I would recommend asking for a window table which allows views over the gardens and beyond. In all, a very pleasant experience.

I thought that as the restaurant was advertised as having a 'Michelin star winning chef' the food would be better. The crispy duck starter was crispy and very very dry. There was no bread at all offered, the bread that was advertised on the menu wasn't available. Our main courses (steak and cod) were lovely, and my dessert was average.... More

Poor service and food cold, dry, chewy and sparse. FIne if you want a signature burger. Very disappointing as it carries Nick Nairn's name. Told that they are having a supplier problem. They are well located for good, fresh, Scottish produce. What an excuse.

My wife and I enjoyed a two course dinner T the Kailyard on Sunday, taking advantage of a 5pm deal. Service was friendly and reasonably although we were not offered the prosecco which was part of the offer. Our mains - lamb and coley - were simply excellent. Desserts - Creme brûlée and trifle- were average. Hence the. 3.5 score.

I expected a reasonable standard as it advertised Nick Nairn, but poorly executed, I had a daube of Scottish beef that not only came out black/ purple but was so rich I think it gave me gout, sauce reduction is meant to accentuate the flavour. Some of dishes were off, presentation is ok but this takes a long time to... More

Recently stayed in Dunblane Hydro and ate in this restaurant on our first evening. The food was of a high standard, very tasty and beautifully presented. There was something on the menu for everyone and was reasonably priced. The staff were great, and there was plenty of them. The only disappointing factor for me was the additional cost for bread...
