Narrow winding road through beautiful countryside with fabulous views of Perthshire Hills takes you to this great restaurant with fantastic food and helpful, friendly staff.

Each year when we are in the area, we make sure we visit this restaurant. It never disappoints. Terrific menu, friendly service and delicious fare. Shared our experience with our daughter this time, so they have another fan. In spite of a large family party, we were still given a warm welcome. Great place. See you next year.

This was a fabulous Sunday lunch. The setting, a 17th Century drovers' inn, located close to the Battle of Sheriffmuir Gathering Stone. The menu is Scottish-themed and much of it is built around local ingredients. I was spoilt for choice, and the enticing selection on the Specials Board didn't help me decide any quicker. I finally opted for the Cullen... More

What a wonderful find this was! Spotted a sign that said 'Sheriffmuir Inn' home of Wagu Highland beef produced in Blackford, Scotland. Unbelievable flavour a texture to this Scottish Highland beef. The location of this inn is a dream and the rural rustic setting is a fitting backdrop to the extensive menu, filled with locally sourced fresh produce. Well worth... More

Came upon the Sheriffmuir Inn whilst out for a drive on Saturday. We arrived just at the end of lunchtime, however the owner could not have been more accommodating. We had a lovely window table close to the open fire. The menu was extensive and the choice very difficult as we wanted to try everything. The food was fabulous. All... More

My wife and I went here for dinner and it really is a hidden gem. A wonderful run up to the inn with amazing scenery. The place has a great look with iron work chairs and a roaring fire it had quite an atmosphere. Them we come to the food we both had Cullen skink for starters absolutely beautiful with... More

I dined here with my wife last Sunday as we were staying at the Dunblane Hydro for a night after reading generally positive reviews about the restaurant on TripAdvisor. It was dark when we arrived for dinner at 7pm but from what we could see the inn looked very nice from the outside. It's quite out of the way but... More

Having eaten at the Sheriffmuir Inn on a number of occasions in the past, I was very disappointed with my recent visit. I stopped in with some friends after a morning of hillwalking for a coffee to warm us up. The waitress serving us was very disinterested, almost to the point of being rude. My friend, having never been before,... More
