Afternoon Tea

We are regular visitors to the Sheriffmuir Inn and very much enjoy eating there. The carefully prepared food is excellent and there's always a good selection, so something for everyone. Friendly greeting on arrival, friendly staff very attentive. The food was cooked fresh, it was very tasty and very well cooked. Would recommend this restaurant for a special meal as it is quite expensive.

It's been at least a couple of years since we last visited and were pleasantly surprised to find the menu significantly paired back but with the usual favourites still there. The garlic bread served with a bulb of roasted garlic is simply divine. We all enjoyed the main meals that we requested: two steaks and twice cooked belly of pork.... More

Visited for lunch recently. Wasn't very busy. Food was good, but £15 for a burger is just to much. Real ale was good.

Each year when we are in the area, we make sure we visit this restaurant. It never disappoints. Terrific menu, friendly service and delicious fare. Shared our experience with our daughter this time, so they have another fan. In spite of a large family party, we were still given a warm welcome. Great place. See you next year.

This was a fabulous Sunday lunch. The setting, a 17th Century drovers' inn, located close to the Battle of Sheriffmuir Gathering Stone. The menu is Scottish-themed and much of it is built around local ingredients. I was spoilt for choice, and the enticing selection on the Specials Board didn't help me decide any quicker. I finally opted for the Cullen... More

What a wonderful find this was! Spotted a sign that said 'Sheriffmuir Inn' home of Wagu Highland beef produced in Blackford, Scotland. Unbelievable flavour a texture to this Scottish Highland beef. The location of this inn is a dream and the rural rustic setting is a fitting backdrop to the extensive menu, filled with locally sourced fresh produce. Well worth... More
