A warm family friendly restaurant, excellent food, excellent staff too. They can easily cater for large groups and of course cater for the romantic couple too. The decor is exclusive and stylish which portrays good highland feel. Moira and Geoff the owners excel in providing top quality of service. A must for the world famous wagyu steaks. If your a... first time visiting this place and what a find, it is way up in the hills, the air would, well take your breath away, it is so pure and exhilarating we were the only one in the restaurant although a few people checked in, they had had a big bbq at the weekend so I was pleased they had been... The inn sits alone in the landscape, amid rolling hills. However, it is just a few minutes outside Dunblane and would make a good stopping point when travelling on the A9/M9 route. It is family run with attentive and cheerful staff. The food was excellent.

Great welcome and really great food - second visit a year after the first, but it was even better. Stunning scenery on the drive up from Stirling, too.

Took friends from Canada here for lunch. Cullen Skink soup was the best we have ever had. All the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. All in all a delightful location and well worth the visit.

Lovely food and helpful staff. Really relaxed enviroment with friendly staff. Definitely go back the sticky toffee pudding was more of a treacle pudding sauce but still delicious.

Stunningly sited high in the Ochils the view is gorgeous. The decor is traditional, high quality, bar looks warm and inviting - we booked and got there a little early and I suggested we sit in the bar until the table was ready (we were the only customers at that point) this was ignored, then I was told I should... No diner likes to be made to feel they are an inconvenience. This is how we were made to feel when we dropped into the Sheriffmuir Inn for a late lunch. Not only were we ignored at the door by the manageress, we were then abruptly and unhelpfully herded into the bar, then ignored again, then eventually the manageress almost... More
