Cod, chips and mushy peas plus a pint of real ale for the same price or cheaper than a chip shop but sitting down inside a nice building with a very well kept pint is an affordable weekly treat. The fish has large white flakes which are cooked to perfection. I rate this as 5* due to the quality vs... More

This is the nicest wetherspoons we have been in! Sat in the snug with mulled cider and a well cooked, quickly served, lunch. Good ambience and friendly staff and other customers!

As a major chain you know what to expect at the manor. Is a beautiful old building but not much chance to appreciate that as it is a busy pub. Great breakfasts including an excellent veggie breakfast which is a rare treat! Dinner is quite good too, large portions & cheap! Not the best food ever but better than you... More

I've been to the Old Manor a few teams in the last 12/18 months and have enjoyed good meals there before. I was genuinely disappointed by the standard of food this time round. Their sunday roast beef was rubbery and the roast potatoes that accompanied it nearly required a hacksaw to cut. I had fish and chips on a second... More

Lovely building - I think it was the oldest in Bracknell. Lots of rooms and nooks and crannys. Wetherspoons menu and beer choice as expected - managed to go 4 nights in a row and still find something to eat! Only problem was getting there as Bracknell seems to be full of underpasses; once we'd worked out which road we... More

Fish and Chips on a Friday must be the best deal in town. £6.25 for a pint of real ale plus fish, chips and mushy peas. Fish was a really good size and not oven cooked but deep fried in nice crispy thick batter. Chips were good and when you take into account that the average price of a pint... More

well its between the manor and the goose , two cheap and cheerful heavy weights of the Bracknell scene . its more of a cheap eatery than an old skool pub . food can be hit and miss but at there prices you dont mind a miss every know and then . good history of Bracknell all over the wall... More

if you want a decent pint and some quick pub grub then you cant knock it. It is what it is and does what it says on the tin.
