Very good Sunday roast. Typical British food. Try their chicken and mushroom pie. Nice and cosy place. Good friendly service and fair prices.

The Scotsman is an interesting little pub full of character. As mentioned in other reviews it is a bit grubby, the caps around the top of the bar could do with a dust down once in a while but the toilets are clean and overall it is ok! They have plenty of beers and spirits, you won’t struggle for a... More

Was looking forward to the food here it had been recommended but unfortunately the staff are more interested in themselves! A sporty afternoon I had adverts blasting in one ear and rugby in the other. I asked the barman to change the adverts to the rugby but he said he was waiting on the football. No one was interested in... More

This pub is always a good choice for a drink or great fish and chips, very large portion of fresh fish in a nice light and crispy batter. Comes with mushy peas and curry sauce.

We had a drink in here, but left quite a bit of it behind. The seats are on the grubby side, our pints (Blue Label ale) were flat, and the waitress came out of the loo without washing her hands - yuck.
