7 of us ate here last Friday for dinner. The restaurant is out of the way and was quieter than I would expect. We got very friendly and attentive service and they were flexible on what they could offer for our children (10 years old). Kids were happy with what they got. The presentation and cooking standard were well above... More

99 Euro for two starters, Sea Bass for two, bottle of wine, bottle of water and a small beer. An appetizer on the house. Bread and olives. Very attentive service where the chef showd us the fish available for our choice. Dishes well prepared. A couple of cats begging for bites cirkled around our table. A few tables outside so... More

Not the cheapest place in the area, but if you taste the food it's clear why! The chef obviously knows what he is doing. Every dish we had was brilliant. We had prawns and pork ragout for starters, seabass and chateaubriand for mains. I think it is a real shame the place is out of the way, this gem isn't... More

Visited For the second time (went last year) at the weekend and the quality was as good as ever. Such a surprise how few people seem to find this place just because no doubt it is up a side street not on the main tourist walkways. Great helpful service, just a shame there was no Maltese wine.

We took a party of 9 for an evening meal and were not disappointed, Most of the group had never been before so I wanted them to experience one of Malta's best. Ivan (Chef patron) did not disappoint! We all left full and happy. The food and wine selection were both varied and interesting. Try the King Scallops to start... More

Such a good menu it was difficult to choose, so allow plenty of time. However every dish was excellent. Fresh salt baked fish, superb beef, melt-in-the mouth veal, crunchy, fluffy roast potatoes and flavoursome stuffed marrow. The home-made fois-gras starter was a particular highlight and served with a very complementary home-made jam. Every meal was perfectly cooked and seasoned and... More

This was so good we came another night with a group of friends. The service whilst relatively slow was meticulous and the food was outstanding. We went on recommendation of a friend and have already recommended it to people and taken friends from the island. Check the opening times though as they are definitely closed Monday.

My husband and I visited this restaurant on the basis of the reviews and a Lonely Planet recommendation. Based upon reviews, it appeared to be a fine-dining establishment. However, it only purported to be such. The decor was particularly drab with no natural light and very strange pictures crowding the walls. We arrived at 7:30pm on a Saturday night to... More

One of the restaurants on our list to try is Assagi, always anxious when trying a new place. When we arrived one of the waitress came out to unlock one of their parkings and i thought thats a good start. This same waitress sat us at our table and handed us their menu which she said changes every week if... More

Went off to a good start with the offer of free parking just outside the restaurant, which is situated in the heart of crowded Paceville. But the food was pretty average and the service was underwhelming too. We had to wait 20 minutes for the drinks order to be taken and it was a struggle to understand the waiter's accent... More
