Lovely location shame about the rest. The service is terrible. Took ages to get a menu, then a drink, and then food. Then another age to get condiments. When the food did arrive was a let down. Dry and tasteless pasta cooked a while ago maybe not even today! Don't often rate poor but avoid and pick somewhere better.

Good value food with an amazing view over Spinola Bay. Service was good with friendly waitress. We had chicken kebabs, lamb kebabs which came with couscous and fries. Nice alternative to pasta and pizzas in most other restaurants.

The husband and I wanted lunch with a view and found Raffael. The view is great by Saint Julian's bay and the menu looked good. So, we took and outside table. We looked at the menu and waited for staff. We chatted a little and decided what we wanted and waited. We waited some more. We waited even longer and... More

Attempted to eat in Raffael for lunch yesterday with my boyfriend due to its lovely location. After the waiting staff just walked past us we decided to just take a seat ourselves. The waitress on duty looked through us as if we didn't exsist while we tried to catch her eye just to be given a menu. Eventually another waiter... More

I went to Raffael as my chosen restaurant was closed, it was getting late, and I was hungry. Also, I was attracted by the attractive setting with terraces overlooking Spinola Bay - an unbeatable location and very romantic at night with all the lights. I was at first ignored by the busy staff. When asking for a table, I was... More

Took the family here for dinner. Five of us with three teenage boys. We're well travelled and used to easting in good restaurants. Food was good, service good, location with view over harbour was good. All of us left feeling we had eaten well and the price was good.

... but we went here two times for lunch as it was definitely acceptable. Pasta dishes were large and was better than expected.

I am sure this is rare but on second mouthful of Pork Kebab I heard an ominous crunch in my mouth. Initially suspected a broken tooth but on inspection it was a significant and sharp piece of glass. I called the waiter who took it away together with the remaining food. Other than asking if I wanted to place another... More

We decided to try this place after the 2 other restaurants we wanted to go to were full. We were served relatively quickly which was not surprising since all of the waiting staff appeared to have drank far too much red bull! It was hard to relax with them zooming about the place! We ordered our food and a bottle... More

We went in this "restaurant" last Sunday! Location is good but this is been the worst experience in my life!! I took spaghetti alla marinara, my boyfriend ravioli with ricotta, better nothing, really!!!! We feel bad for rest of journey, the food was really abominable... Never seen nothing like this place! Believe me, don't go!!!
