To be honest, I have never been disappointed at this restaurant. The ambiance is very welcoming and kept nice and cozy in Winter. This restaurant specializes in typical Maltese/ Gozitan food at very high quality and yet reasonable prices. I'm very pleased with the introduction of the set menu at a very good price of only 25 Euros per person.... More

We went there twice during our holiday in Malta for New Year celebrations. We had great time: lovely food, especially fresh fishes, and friendly staff. We loved this place and would recommend it.

Staff are very friendly and even on what was clearly a very busy period they were very attentive. You get this huge bread as starter and the portion sizes were amazingly large (seems to be a Maltese trait). To be honest, I was tempted to give it higher review, but the rabbit I had was rather tough and difficult to... More

There was literally nothing worth visiting this restaurant. The swordfish was very salty, the ravioli almost tasteless. The quails lacked spice, the honey sauce was greasy. Apart from the food, the staff was not very motivated as well. Sadly our worst dining experience in Malta.

If you want to taste local specialities then Gozitan restaurant must be your first choice! Even the bread, which is offered, is completely different. Do not forget to taste roasted pig, fried rabbit of stew and cheese plate. Prefer the local rose and red wines, which are excellent!

A Maltese restaurant serving dishes from Gozo. Perfectly cooked sea bream - simply done, no messing about. Heartier meat dishes include horse and rabbit. Large-ish portions. Large wine list. Cheery staff. A decent bet for large groups or intimate dining.

I would advise booking as it's very popular. Even though it was busy when we were there the service was quick, helpful and friendly. Wonderful authentic Maltese food, beautifully cooked, and excellent local wine choice at great value. Make sure you are hungry because the servings are very generous.
