Once again we decided to have dinner in this small gem of a restaurant in the heart of St Julians! In just a few words- mouth-watering excellent food which you won't found anywhere else!! It's worth every second of the wait till it's served!! All fresh and cooked on order! Highly recommended! We had king prawns to start with followed... More

Visited in June, great food, good service will definately return. have intended trying this restaurant for years, was taken there by friends for a birthday meal, well worth the wait. We ate on the terrace watched the world go by and had a great night.

We had to book as no free tables the night we were passing. They seem to do 2 sittings, 7.30 or 9.30. Like others we felt it wasn't the warmest welcome or service, but that didn't take away from the fact that the food was delicious and the portion sizes good. Between us we had a shellfish mix, rabbit and... More

This restaurant was suggested to us by an ex-pat working out there so we gave it a go. Its not the biggest place in town but the size just helps create an intimate atmosphere whilst the interior is decorated in such a way that you do feel like your actually in 1927. The owner ( i assume) was a little... More

We called in when passing one eve and it was booked out-always a good sign-so we booked for the following eve. The food was delicious and the staff were just so so pleasant and professional. It's a little gem and excellent value.

Really liked this place. They had run out of fish which was our first choice but the steak as amazing. The staff were great and really cared about what they served, It had a feeling of real care about what they served and how you felt about it. I had had a big lunch and the server was so upset... First visited this restaurant in October based purely on recommondations from this site - we werent disappointed. Visited again on our recent trip to Malta and it was just as good - the starters were gorgeous - and the main course of rabbit is just to die for. Local wine recommended by the friendly waitress was perfect. Portions are huge... More

We came to restaurant after having read reviews recommending it. And, we weren't disappointed: fantastic mix of local fare and Mediterranean options, local wines on the menu and a great people-watching perch on the front terrace. Would have gone back every night.

Took us a while to orientate ourselves and find out exactly which door to go into but once in, the atmosphere was welcoming and so were the two waiters running the floor. We were served with an unexpected plate of hors d'oeuvres ... the red kidney bean paste was to die for! The starter was massive with a small portion... More

We ate here on our last night, the food was nice but the menu is very very limited. So if your a fussy water probably not the best place to go. The food was nice and the portions were massive! I just wish we would have found this place sooner as we would have eaten here more than once!
