A Jewel in St Julians

We have had a flat in Sliema for 10 years and have only just discovered this gem. What have we been missing? A super welcome when you arrive, first class service and absolutely top notch food. Nothing else to say but roll on September when we can visit again. Highly recommended.

Beautiful restaurant and beautiful food. I'm not very adventurous when it comes to food but my husband likes to try new things. They were very accommodating and made me a dish that wasn't on the menu. I did however try the whitebait which comes in a cheese basket, this seemed to be a popular dish there and they give you... This is a lovely restaurant - in fact on a five day holiday we went twice. I was visiting my son who has gone to live in Malta for a while and he had been to check it out. The staff are really friendly and attentive (but not intrusive ). Good choice of food and very nice.

We were greeted very politely by who I think was the restaurant manager or the owner. My rib eye was perfectly cooked while my wife took a portion of the suckling pig which was perfectly tender. Slightly pricey but the service, location and quality of the food justify the price :) Will definitely revisit!

This restaurant is tucked away near the City of London Bar and it is advisable to book. It offers a wide variety of food from seafood to pasta to meats and although a little bit more expensive than some nearby restaurants both the food and service are that little bit above the norm. Worth a visit for a treat as... More

Everything from starters to deserts were excellent. Menu offers something for everyone, fish and meat. One can choose their fish of the day fresh off the tray. The wine list offers a wide variety of delicious wines, local as well as at least Italian and French. Wonderful house made lemon sorbet! Professional and friendly staff. My husband and I walked... Loved this place the first time we visited. Great food and great service from people who love what they do and are passionate about the whole dinner experience. Recommend booking in advance as it is popular and ideally you want a table outside.

Everything from the food to the service was excellent. We had the boneless chicken and the filet peperoncino and both where extremely tasty and just to our liking. Coupled with attentive and friendly service this was so far the best restaurant we have tried at malta.

After a long day out on a cruise we chose Peperoncino on the way back to our hotel having read a review or two, I had the Prawn & Chorizo Pasta, my partner had the Pork Fillet - absolutely superb main course - following that we had the Chocolate Mousse and Banoffee Pie - 5* amazing!
