We ate here on a Saturday evening without having a reservation. As we arrived we were warmly welcomed by the staff and (we guess) the owner. The restaurant is small, but with a very nice ambience. It looks very typically maltese for us so is the menu. Its small and the dishes sounding all like typically maltese dishes. But small... More

Very quaint setting on a backstreet, very attentive waiters/waitress, superb T bone steak and fig and orange tart for dessert, even popped the wine in a bag for us to take away!

Not bad, I think it's a little pricey for what you get but food it's not bad... Can feel too crowded of staff around the bar at times.

What a treat to find this wonderful restaurant just up the road from our hotel. The staff were wonderful and looked after us so well. We would recommend this to everyone - the prices are reasonable... More

I've been living in Malta for 3 years and I have to say that Peperoncino is one of the best restaurants on the island. Good service, good food, lovely atmosphere and prizes are well balanced with the quality of the food.

I went on a Saturday night and I had the impression that the fish we chose was not the same one we were served. I can't be sure 100% because it was served cleaned, though.

Recommended to us by locals, we were not disappointed. Perfect gnocchi, roast piglet and veal cheeks, excellent wine and a lovely outside table overlooking the bay. We will go back.
