We have visited Zest following some recommendations and we were really disappointed. In my opinion, the place is overrated and overpriced - a typical must-to-be for posers... I would not recommend to a friend.

This place is mega expensive especially for drinks, be careful as the drinks price list is not in easy view! Food was good, staff were nice, I think it very overpriced, considering the restaurants within 2 minutes away which are just as good if not better, and far cheeper.

After reading the comments below it seems a lot of people are happy with what zest provides. I am very fortunate to travel the world and get paid for it. The problem with zest is that it is in Malta. Like most things on the island it takes time to catch up with the rest of the world. I guess... More

The Asian food is ok, don't have the Maki Sushi rolls as they are just subpar at best. The bread they put out pre meal is stale and tasteless. The Pad Thai noodles were very good and definitely recommended.

Great fusion food. Restaurant overlooking Spinola Bay. Have been there several times. Customer service is amazing and very professional which in Malta... well, it is pretty hard to find!

I have been going to Zest for about a decade now and, over all these years, it has maintained all its qualities, from beautiful environment to delicious food and great service. I consider it to be one of the best restaurants in Malta. The food is fantastic and, in my opinion, it has the best sushi on the island. Very... More

We lived two weeks in Hotel Juliani. Zest is the first restaurant inside. They make an excellent menu from sushi to different east-meets-west dishes, we have not seen somewhere else. A place to visit, if you are in St. Julians or nearby...

The clientele is the one of the best ways to judge a restaurant without eating. We entered Zest to find a bustling restaurant inhabited by a combination of locals, business travellers, hotel travellers and people looking for authentic dishes from their home countries. So it has to rely upon the quality of its food. The mix seemed peculiar at first,... More

It's fine dining Asian food, restaurant is beautiful inside, staff were attentive but then there wasn't many people in when we were in, only reason I can think is cause it was a Monday night because the food was excellent. Not a massive menu but a good selection of your standard Chinese / Thai type dishes with a few not... More
