Whilst staying in the adjacent Travelodge I popped into the Little Chef for my breakfast. The staff were friendly attentive, the food arrived quickly and was very tasty, and the dining area was clean and welcoming. The price was very reasonable too

On our way to Anglesey in need of sustenance.....we stopped in to the little chef. Although the food was passable and the staff were nice, the whole building was in a disgusting state of repair. There were very deep puddles on the approach to the place, there was an outside seating area, full of rubbish and totally flooded; the doors... More

I have many happy memories of Little Chefs but this one is really a pretty miserable place. Staff can't be bothered, food is poor quality, greasy burger and overall very poor value for money. If staying at the Travelodge, you might think this is a better option than their awful "Breakfast Box" but you might want to think again.

We called here for breakfast last Sunday and were not disappointed. Despite it being early on a Sunday they were quite busy but this didn't delay us being greeted by a very pleasant gentleman who showed us to our table and quickly took our drinks order. The restaurant was warm and welcoming and the service could not have been better... More

It's the best breakfast and service anywhere locally. But the area management need to invest and update the terrible toilet facilities and donate them to a museum. A lick of paint and an efficient heating system would improve facilities too. Reliable kitchen equipment wouldn't be a bad idea either. That said, the staff are amazing and their manner and quality... More

The entire site was badly in need of maintenance and investment. The worst part was the men's toilets, which were beyond bad. One urinal was full to the brim. Another was taped off with a black bin liner ... I'm sure it's been that way for months since the last time I was there. The worst bit was the turd... More

Great improvement from the last time we visited UK in 2009. A big thank you to the Manager and staff who could not have been more friendly - the food was great too!

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was quick and efficient. The heating wasn't working so the restaurant was a little cold, but the staff member suggested I move tables to be near the warm air portable machine, which was certainly much warmer than elsewhere in the restaurant.

I ate here twice for breakfast over a weekend in October 2013 and found this to be better than most Little Chef's I've come across. The food was good, the decor was good and the service was excellent - very friendly members of staff only too happy to accommodate our changes to the meals on the menu. The food arrived... More
