Friendly little tea room, with a tasty, if simple, lunch menu. Yummy cakes. Also sell tasteful gifts and cards. Delightful little garden and friendly quick service.

Excellent kids club pottery group, with the added bonus of wonderful cinnamon latte and delicious cakes served in the cafe, Very inspiring for children, there's virtually no limits to what they can make, My 6 year old absolutely loves going to Pottery

It was excellent all children picked and painted an animal then all had a go on the potters wheel, David the owner was fantastic with the kids and the atmosphere was fantastic, many of us adults ate in the cafe... Lovely coffee, fab genuine homemade cakes all served on or in gorgeous pottery - a fabulous way to spend a Saturday afternoon while the children are making or decorating; and if the weather is clement you can sit in the garden

David is a great pottery expert and sells his work, along with other craft type gifts and unusual quirky cards etc in the shop atached to his art studio. It is a one floor, small area but prettily decorated in simple colours to allow the art work to show itself off! You can have a nice brew and slab of... More

My friend and I found this by googling cafe's in Alfreton - it has a website: http://davids-pottery.co.uk. It has a lovely bright friendly atmosphere. Coffee, tea, cakes etc, all served on David's pottery. We didn't go for lunch but it serves snacks too. Fenced secluded gravel garden at the back, with pots of flowers, a sunshade over the large wooden... More
