Rosso is italian style chain restaurant and it is spread all over Finland. It is safe choice to eat, nothing special but ok. At our visit Rosso Imatra was very pleasant surprise. The food was extremely tasty ( a four different dishes and desserts) and service was excellent - friendly and fast. Only con was a salad table, it is... More

Very average food, especially if you've been to a decent restaurant in Italy. Pasta dishes are not exactly what they are supposed to be and pasta is overcooked (not "al dente" as it should be).

Rosso is a chain, so you know exactly what to expect. A bit dated, but still cosy interior, comfortable seats, menu in Finnish, English and Russian. Nice waitresses. Good food (not gourmet, but fresh and honest). Choice of salads, soups, pizza, pasta and grill. The salad bar, which is included, is a joke. I would shut it in order not... More

This is one node in a chain of restaurants. What we liked in this restaurant was the speedy and welcoming service.

The restaurant is centrally located and easy to get to. It has a nice outdoor terrace during summer time. Interior is a typical one but a bit worn down but has a children play area as a bonus. The salad bar was disappointing. Not really fresh, not many choices and to an extent a bit weird one: Corn, chopped pickles... More

When you're in a hurry and you don't care, if the food is factory/central kitchen made, go to Rosso. Average food at good price. In Imatra's Rosso the service varies to much, depending who is on duty. You might get quick & smiling service - or not. Parking places enough in neighborhood, and this restaurant is very central situated.

Just finished dinner with friends...we ordered pizza and pasta! The pasta was a bit over cooked to my opinion unless that is the way the local like it:) The pizza was thin which is nice but overall very different( someone said before like ginger bread and I agree)

Sometimes like to eat pizzas somewhere-else than in real pizzeria but this was disappointment....i dont understand how they can do pizzas without any pizza taste...i try to improve it with oregano spice but it was also like just leaves but i dont know from what plant.....i think nobody use it before me during last two years. Before they had salad buffet... The restaurant recommended rye pizzas and the description was tempting. Have to say that it was not good. It was like Christmas gingerbread and not so much filling. I´ve tasted a rye pizza over 20 years ago, and it was nearly as terrible as this newer version. Imatra is very international city, a lot of Russian people. Also in crowded... More

Been to this restaurant on my business trip. Ordered goat cheese spaghetti pasta and it was yum. Overall found the people of Imatra quite kind and nice and it was the same in this restaurant as well.
