lovely meat restaurant

it is an old, family owned, lovely restaurant mostly serving on meat meals. The atmosphere is quite nice. They have wood heated oven I guess which makes meal delicious. The personal is quite helpful and smiley. If you cannot speak French like me you'll be also smiley cause they can't speak in... read more

I actually still think about the steak I had here and can't wait to go back. Order the Pate Negra, have a decent bottle of red with it and enjoy excellent service, solid cooking and delicious flavours. It has a local feel to it, it's laid back and looks a nice place to bring the family. Prices are reasonable but... More

We stayed for one night in a near by hotel. This was the only restaurant still serving at 21:00, monday evening. Table for three, nice entrecote and a good bordeaux from Graves. Some cheese and dessert. Really enjoyed my meal and evening here. On the counter is a large saving pig for tips. I made a mistake (me dutch) by... More

Had to queue for a table before the restaurant opened - lots of reserved tables so we had high hopes. Inside, the restaurant is just a corridor and rather squidgy. The menu was totally in French and the waiters had little to no English but seemed to enjoy our efforts at basic French which got us through ok. Drinks came... More

If you want to see real local people enjoying real regional food in a busy local restaurant this is the place for you. Not for vegetarians and romantic quiet diners although I did see a few holding hands. A bit crowded and the tables close together but that was part of the fun. Not for people with mobility issues as... More

Do not go here if you are a vegetarian or you’d be disappointed. This restaurant is all about Meat – All VERY good. No Fries available but plenty of other good side dishes. The service was friendly, The food very good and it didn’t kill the wallet. A nice place to visit.

Coming back from a holiday in the south of France, we've randomly picked a city from the map and went there for lunch. On a great square we've found Pierre Bonaventure and enjoyed every minute. It was warm, hectic, sometime a bit chaotic, but the food was delicious. My wife and I had the steak tartare and the children a... More

From the outside, looks pretty ordinary. Inside, a real French atmosphere. We went on a Monday evening, usually the quiet day but this place was busy, mainly with local people. In fact, they were turning people away, or at least asking them to come back later, most of whom did. Service was efficient and friendly. Food was good, well cooked... More

This restaurant is on the main square of the town and it opened at 19:30, which caused us to have to wait a couple of minutes before we could go in. We had no reservation, but since we were so early we could get seated anyway. It got quite crowded while we were eating, so you should probably try and... More

This restaurant is spezialized in meat which is prepared in wooden fire place. The ribeye was tasty, juicy and grilled to perfection. The restaurant is nicely decorated and has a good atmosphere. If you have to wait for a table you get a refreshment at the bar on the house. The prices are reasonable. On weekends you better have a... More
