A hidden gem

We always make a point of visiting the Cowboy Cookout and it hasn't disappointed us yet. Initially we had stopped at Casey's on Main St but the queues were ridiculous so wandered down to the far corner of Frontierland, where I assume most people forget about as it's always empty. Our daughter uses a wheelchair chair and as soon as we walked in here the staff couldn't have been more helpful. They found us a seat and got menus for us.It was really nice with the fire burning and great bbq food to warm us up on a cold day.

Hadn't planned to eat here, but needed the loo, so popped inside. The fire was raging, the band was playing, and it seemed really nice. I shared a meal with my son, he ate the bun and I ate the burger (bit dry) and we shared the wedges. Much better than Casey's corner, which we tried the next day.

One of the better places to eat in Disney. Good value for money in comparison to the other themed eateries. We had the chicken and rib combo which was tasty and a decent portion. The live music added to the atmosphere. Would go again.

We went to Disneyland Paris on a rainy day in November. The park nor the restaurant were busy. The people who worked there were very friendly, the restaurant is very spacious with plenty of empty tables. Everything was great except for the food which was awful. We both ordered from Menu 2, which was the smoked chicken. We saw other... More

We decided to give this ago, without planning to before we went (I plan most of our meals when we holiday at DLP) and I am very glad we did! It doesn't look like much from outside, mostly due to the theming and barn like exterior, but inside is lovely too. The décor fits the bill, and is very authentic!... More

We stumbled across this counter service restaurant in one of the quieter areas of the park. It is in a corner between the railroad station and Big Thunder Mountain. The 2 times we went it was very quiet and the service was quick. We managed to get a table for all 15 of us with no trouble. We ate from... More

The park was not especially busy, but the queue for this restaurant was longer than the restaurant and out the door. This suggested it must be good, but in fact it was because they did not bother to open half of the tills. It therefore took almost an hour to get food that was cold and tasteless. I could not... Ventured here after reading TA reviews and glad we did, 11.99 euros for chicken strips (about 6 huge ones), chips (big portion), a drink and dessert, probably one of the cheapest and best deals in the park, we had 2 portions of this @ 23.98 and a portion of the smoked half chicken 12.99 with chips between 4 of us... We found ourselves stood outside the Cowboy Cookout as the heavens opened, and decided to go in for lunch. It was lovely, and very reasonably priced as Disney goes. Yes, it is fast food, but it was hot & tasty. My husband & son had burgers & I had BBQ chicken with delicious wedges, and the portions were generous. Worth... More
