A lovely warm homely atmosphere and friendly locals

Haven't ordered food yet, have visited two or three times since moving here, and I've always felt welcomed by both staff and customers. The fire is great to sit next to if you can, but its warm enough for all to share. Can't wait to eat here!

Visited this pub for a meal on Saturday 24th October, didn't know what to expect, the pub is in the middle of Llantrisant, and we had read some good reviews on trip advisor, walking into the pub it was looking like a typical pub, telly on the wall etc etc, however the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the... Visited here for Sunday Lunch, thought I would give it a try. When I booked no one mentioned that I would be sitting in the bar with a massive television on in front of me. The food was dreadful, cold with shriveled parsnips and yorkshire pudding, I think cooking lessons wouldn't go a miss here. and the service was chaotic.... More

I had a brilliant night out there, the staff were so welcoming, that they even offered me a 'clunge lunge ' which went down well. Good fun all round

The food was fantastic great range of different foods from pub classics to American style burgers. The leek and potato soup was exceptional it was obviously home made and was lovely and thick! My husbands steak was cooked to perfection it was like slicing butter and the flavouring was mouth watering. Finally to top of a perfect meal was the... More
