What can I say? We had heard of the restaurant but had never been so took the bull by the horns and booked with friends. What a lovely welcome, the restaurant isn't your modern look but is welcoming warm and comfortable with great service. Having been very much a medium to well done steak person or chicken, I was nervous... More

The service is efficient and the staff attentative without being overbearing. The choice of food is amazing with Zebra, Crocodile and Buffalo on the menu! I'm not adventurous so stuck with sea bass and have had chicken there in the past and have always had a great experience with top quality food. Definately worth a visit.

Was really looking forward to our night out at this resaraunt, but will not be going back. Service was slow, and only two tables being served. Manager was sweaty and dressed in a pair if joggers and trainers, felt like I was in a truckers cafe. Main course was ok, I had lamb, nice gravy, veg was peas served in... More

Went here for a meal with a friend on a weeknight. Restaurant was very quiet, only 2 others tables occupied. Service was efficient & friendly. For a starter I had clams & mussels - clams were enormous but VERY tough, mussels were tender and excellent flavour. Main course menu relies heavily on exotic meat e.g. zebra, bison, crocodile, but I... More

A party of four attended, two couples. We had a brilliant evening and the total bill came to £120 for for and drinks which was incredibly reasonable considering we all had 3 courses each with 3 of us having coffees aswell. For starters 2 of us had garlic mushrooms which were absolutely delicious, I tasted my partners, it was lovely,... More

Well took my wife for our anniversary and she totally loved it! Tried the reindeer which turned out to be one of the most tender and tasty meats I have had. Tony is the most fantastic host and we will definitely be back
