Sicilian delight.

Great real ale and popular with walkers and caravaners. warm friendly staff happy to help. great idea of having samples of real ale for tasting. Rack of ribs to die for. Good selection of wines.

It's a nice pub with a good friendly atmosphere and the brewed on the premises bitter is excellent. Dogs are made welcome in the bar. The food appears variable, with very good fish and chips, but the steak pie had a strange smoky taste and the filling was small uniform sized cubes rather than meaty chunks. Definitely needs a change... More

Great pub. Walked from Youlgreave. Good 9 ladies beer, great cheese and pickle baguette and a side of beautifully cooked fries. What more could a walker want other than a second pint!

Three of us had lunch here while out walking. A friend had planned the walk specifically so we could eat here, as he knew the owner / chef was proud of his locally sourced quality ingredients and was also making cheese and brewing his own beer. We ordered beer and without asking were given a sample of their own brew.... More

15 Adult + 4 kids descended onto this place with no notice for a lunch, and they were more than accommodating and gave us all a good meal. Our group alone filled most of the restaurant and all ordering the same time they did very well. The food was great, I had the blackboard special of the burger, which was... More

Quick service, small eating area, but efficient and friendly staff. Food was rustic, but tasty. Piping hot and home cooked. My companion had bakewell pudding, having scoured the menus outside other local pubs to no avail, for this local delicacy renowned in this area
