I got here by accident I was looking for somewhere to have a light lunch and as it was Sunday lunch they were very accommodating and made me a roast beef sandwich which was very delicious. Staff are very friendly and good atmosphere. I would recommend this place.

Visited today with a group of walkers. The snack menu was hand written, not including the price or what you got, is this legal? We ordered 2 pints of ordinary bitter, a glass of grapefruit & soda, 3 ciabattas, prawn, pork & sausage. £33.60. Food was ok but nothing special. What a rip-off, we will not be returning.

Enjoyed another very good meal - locally sourced meat is just the best. Very child friendly. Will visit again. Remember to leave enough room for dessert.

We've visited this pub/restaurant many times and somehow I've never got round to writing a review. Bulwick is a picturesque village, just off the Stamford/Corby main road and the Queens Head is a traditional stone-built country pub specialising in a fine range of ales, traditional "pub grub" and other meals from their menu and specials board. They have pizza, curry... More

We had a beautiful Sunday lunch in this very lovely establishment with a cheery smile from the landlord and staff. I could have gone away pretty happy, though it was an expensive Sunday lunch, had I not been utterly fleeced on a cheese sandwich. I'm talking 2 pieces of white bread and a little bit of grated cheese for £7.50.... More

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I have to say I was shocked when I initially read your post. We often sell sandwiches on a sunday as not everyone wants a full sunday roast. These are served with chips and a salad. I agree £7.50 for two slices of bread and a little filling is too... More

We were a party of 9, arriving 30 minutes before closing time on a Saturday afternoon. Despite this, not only were we served an excellent lunch but the staff stayed open for us so that we could finish our meal in a leisurely fashion. Every one of was delighted with our meal (choices were sausage and mash, pie, burgers, fish... More

We booked last minute, our last meal under the previous owners had been a bad experience but we were pleased that it has got its character back. Service was effcient, menu was quite limited but specials board made up for it. We will definitely be back.
