Best dessert ever!

My husband and I went here for lunch. He ordered the seared ahi and I ordered a couple of sides. Everything was delicious. We also ordered the piña colada cake...we both agreed it was the best dessert we have ever had! Nice restaurant , better dessert!

We ate here on our way to the airport -- heading home. Although it was the middle of the week, the place was packed -- we were glad that we had made a reservation. There were many families with children, and with live music in the background, the noise level was high. Everyone -- from the hostess to our server,... More

For years we have dropped into Tommy Bahama's Restaurant in Mauna Lani for happy hour....good appetizers and cocktails. This year we decided to make proper reservations and enjoy dinner...and we did enjoy it. We found the food and service to be very good. The meal did seem to be a bit rushed with the dinner order being served before we... More

It started with the bread. Warm, soft and oh so good. I had the fillet mignon with blue cheese and it was cooked medium as I requested. So good. 5 of us had dinner and everyone raved about their meal. We all shared a piece of Pina Colada cake and I wished I had of had my own. Perfect ending... More

We had an excellent last night meal at Tommy's. The food and service were excellent. We had difficulty deciding on choice of food as most of the menu looked so appealing. The prices were also more reasonable than most of Tommy's competitors.

The food was above average, the service was very good. A very friendly laid back atmosphere, absolutely beautiful view of the sunset and night sky. Highly recommend.

I moved to the Big Island one and a half years ago and have been hesitant to dine at Tommy Bahamas. Not exactly sure why, maybe I simply associate them with the clothing and furniture lines, and assumed they wouldn’t know as much about food…Well I was very wrong!! I am so glad I have had the pleasure of eating... More

We enjoyed a tasty meal on Valentine's night. Service was attentive and food delivered with passion. We had fish at our table shut one (swordfish), ahi, Mahi and scallops. It was fresh and the sides were flavorful and inventive. We all had bungalow or green papaya salads and no room for dessert, although the dessert platter was tempting! Prices were... More

We are big fans of Tommy Bahama restaurants and have eaten at the locations in Wailea on Maui and the location in Scottsdale, AZ. This location was super generic and just didn't have the same special feel that the other spots we've been to have. Not to mention the guy doing live music the night we were there was super... More

Took an old childhood friend out for lunch as she had flown in to Kona from Honolulu. We had grown up in the East and this place was a perfect background for reminiscing the colonial surroundings we grew up. The staff was caring and attentive and the food was superb. But the shop downstairs can empty your wallet very easily.... More
