Took an old childhood friend out for lunch as she had flown in to Kona from Honolulu. We had grown up in the East and this place was a perfect background for reminiscing the colonial surroundings we grew up. The staff was caring and attentive and the food was superb. But the shop downstairs can empty your wallet very easily.... More

We enjoyed a great dinner here after being out on the island all day. Sunset at Kilauea left me craving something warm (it was freezing up there!), and the crab bisque just hit the spot. S enjoyed his spicy scallops and shrimp. He's a scallop connoisseur, so when he was wow'd by that dish, that's saying allot! The service was... More

Emily was our waitress and she was by far one of the most attentive, organized, and genuine servers I have ever had. She was busy, but never made us feel rushed. She did not miss a beat all night! We live close by and eat at many restaurants in the area. This was such a pleasant surprise. The food was... More

We were a VERY large group and I worked personally with the manager to plan a menu leading up to our dinner. We've seen this scenario implode many times before but Brenda made sure we had the right staff. Salads and appetizers were out for the adults while another serving was taking kids order in a very timely fashion. I... More

The concierge at our hotel would not recommend this place but we tried it anyway. We should have heeded her advice. It was very pricey and not that great. We had looked at an on line menu but when we arrived the menu was much different and limited to the higher end dishes. the menu we saw is given out... More

On a recommendation we went to this restaurant. Glad we did. Reservations are a must, we did not wait in a line up. The food was tastey and creatively served. The manager came around, and he cared about what we thought. The waiters were informative and delightful. Would Definetely return to this restaurant.

Me and my husband came here and I would definitely go back! I had the Jerk Pork Tenderloin with a Sweet potato! Our server was very friendly and quick with bringing refills for drinks etc. We sat on the balcony and had a lot of friendly birds hanging out around our table. The food portion was a perfect amount, my... More

Eight of us were in attendance. Service was perfect thanks to Juanita. Nice wines. Great starters were the coconut shrimp and the rack of ribs we asked for as an appetizer. The chicken appetizer was good, not great. All entrees were well received. Thai shrimp and scallops, filet and the ahi. All were gone. But again although all was great,... More
