Great spot for breakfast!

My Grandmother, Mum and I had breakfast at Hay Shed Hill on our last morning in the south west. The coffee we ordered was lovely as were the fresh squeezed juices. Two of us had the mushrooms with truffle oil, goats cheese and poached eggs which was lovely and the other had eggs on toast. The eggs... read more

We were really looking forward to this restaurant as it came highly recommended. Driving into the property was very pretty set alongside the vines. We thought we'd start with a wine tasting first and then head onto the restaurant for a late lunch. Tried to open the cellar door and it was locked. We could see people tasting inside so... More

We had a wonderful wine tasting followed by an outstanding lunch! Food style was welcoming an relaxed. Just how a winery should be!!! Had a great chat to the chef about cheese selection from there cheese cabinet and the seafood & meat charcuterie was substantial, clever and tasty. A must visit on your trip down south

Despite calling into the cafe for lunch near closing time the staff were only too happy to make us feel comfortable and allowed us to take our time. The venue has a varied menu with most items comparable to a restaurant in quality and cost rather than a cafe. The pizza we ordered was reasonably sized and tasty and the... More

Very enthusiastic, interested and passionate people who love wine! Bought a case of delights including varietals I generally would not have purchased, hence I think a reflection of the quality and genuine passion for winemaking. Thankyou!

It was nice to go back to Hay Shed; the wine is delicious, and enjoying a Margharita pizza on the deck overlooking the vineyards was so relaxing. The wait staff was friendly, and we had to go back a second time!

Why go to Europe when you have restaurants like this in beautiful environments in Australia and at prices way below the Australian capital cities. A seafood charcuterie to die for and petit fours that melt. And add in friendly staff for whom nothing is too much trouble. There is a great range of cheeses to take away for a secret... More

We were recommend the Hay Shed for lunch by another winery and we were not disappointed. The service was great, we were able to order what we wanted for lunch, then go do some tasting to see what we wanted to drink to accompany our food. Catering to dietary requirements were not an issue and they double check everything. The... More

Anticipation must have got the better of me, as our recent dining experience at Hay Shed Hill was disappointing. Arriving for lunch on a recent Friday we were seated at a centrally located table on the outside decking, with views over the vines. All good so far, but it gradually deteriorated from here. You know the feeling when you are... More

When we arrived at Hay Shed Hill the car park was full so obviously others knew what we were about to learn. The food is worth traveling for. We immedicately had food envy as we were shown to our seats and passed a waitress serving a 'taste plate'. It looked so delicious that we really only had a cursory glance... More
