We arrived with no booking but had been told to go to Hay Shed for lunch by a nearby winery to find the best food in the area. The recommendation turned out to be totally correct . The service was friendly and knowledgeable ,we had a plate of charcuterie to share and marinated Kingfish to share which was perfectly done... More

My friend and I came here for a relaxing breakfast on Sunday. Whilst the breakfast menu is brief, approx 6 options, I had no trouble picking. We both chose the baked eggs with chorizo, Chilli sauce (minus croutons) - and the coffee was the stunning 5 Senses local blend. We were so full and relaxed we didn't leave until half... More

As we pulled up to the winery, we all commented on how nice the place looked, very country, lots of charm. We entered the cellar door to try some wine and that's when it all fell apart. We were immediately confronted by a staff member behind the counter who told us that as we had arrived in a bus, we... More

Excellent food and great service. Served by a lovely kiwi lady, Asheeqwa?.. that made us laugh and feel relaxed. All dishes were a perfect fusion of modern techniques using solid traditional flavours. Will definitely go back.

I've taken friends to Hay Shed hill deli a lot in the last 5 years as the cheese is always to die for and the wine is usually pretty good. The last few times have not been as pleasant due to the rudeness of staff at the cellar door. We went there yesterday an hour before closing time and the... More

We stopped for a lunch between exploring the Margaret River region and were not disappointed. We were offered inside or outside seating, but agreed that inside was more comfortable because of the wind. The service was efficient, not overly friendly and very knowledgeable about the food and wine menu. The mushroom pizza was delicious as was the beef entree. Pity... More

Always enjoy our meals here. Always something tasty on the menu and a great drop- we like the block 6 Chardonnay. Dined with another couple shared 4 pizzas- all of which were delightful and chips were good too. Bought some blue cheese to take away- the chef was great at recommending cheeses to suit us. We love that they let... More

We came here today after looking at the website and seeing duck was available as a meal at the cafe. Upon arrival we were advised by the manager the menu had changed two days before and the website had not been updated yet. We then decided to stay anyway as the food still looked nice. We asked if the chicken... More

We had lunch with 40 people. They let us order entrees on the day. We pre ordered the main courses. The food was really good quality. I tried all the entrees and all were lovely. Lovely out look and friendly staff. Would definitely recommend dropping on for lunch. The world series wine at $35 a bottle was excellent.
