Absolutely fantastic

We travel a lot, and eat out often. Yesterday we went to the HayShed Hill Deli Cafe for lunch. We shared a pate to start ($16) it was plated beautifully, served with bacon jam, cornichons, pickled saffron cauliflower, and various other elements. Next course was pork 3 ways($38) and beef cheeks... read more

Another fab lunch at Hay Shed. Seriously the best cheese selection in the south west. Go and have a look. It's awesome.

Excellent lunch with friends. Great menu with wide range of options to suit our varied likes. The staff were excellent and topped off with one of the nicest sav blac/semillion wines tasted while down the Margaret River region.

My partner and I had breakfast here on our last morning in the south west. The advantage of this place is that it serves breakfast until 11.00am, which seems to be a rarity in the region. The breakfast menu only has about 5 or so breakfast choices, including poached eggs on toast, assorted mushrooms with a poached egg, a spinach... More

Hayshed Hill has been around forever but you wouldn't think so. It is a young, funky place with the old winery turned into a cafe and fromagerie. The wines are drinkable - light and easy, and the food is excellent. Something different to whet the appetite. if you like it hot the Pork belly and laksa is an interesting dish,... More

We were really looking forward to this restaurant as it came highly recommended. Driving into the property was very pretty set alongside the vines. We thought we'd start with a wine tasting first and then head onto the restaurant for a late lunch. Tried to open the cellar door and it was locked. We could see people tasting inside so... More

My Grandmother, Mum and I had breakfast at Hay Shed Hill on our last morning in the south west. The coffee we ordered was lovely as were the fresh squeezed juices. Two of us had the mushrooms with truffle oil, goats cheese and poached eggs which was lovely and the other had eggs on toast. The eggs were cooked to... More

We had a wonderful wine tasting followed by an outstanding lunch! Food style was welcoming an relaxed. Just how a winery should be!!! Had a great chat to the chef about cheese selection from there cheese cabinet and the seafood & meat charcuterie was substantial, clever and tasty. A must visit on your trip down south

Despite calling into the cafe for lunch near closing time the staff were only too happy to make us feel comfortable and allowed us to take our time. The venue has a varied menu with most items comparable to a restaurant in quality and cost rather than a cafe. The pizza we ordered was reasonably sized and tasty and the... More
