I had a girls night out here a few weeks back and was charged £6 for one glass of prosecco which I expect and have paid in a 4 star restaurant not a high street pub! Food menu is over priced also and service the night we were in there wasn't great as staff spent most of the time chatting... read more

Robert must be talking about another restaurant! Am a local who has been here many times. Place has gone downhill since current owners took over and is getting worse as often empty and now closed until 6pm. Owners are cocky without reason as food is below average and prices higher than decent places in Bath. Would never eat there again... More

Someone has downloaded the wrong photo. The photo is of the shop called The Wine Rack which has long gone. The premises are now occupied by the Coventry Building Society. The Wine Bar is on the other side of the road.

We had a light lunch of paninis - mine was tasty (bacon, brie and pesto), the wife's not so good (one small slice of sun dried tomato doth not a goat's cheese and sundried tomato panini make!). The salad was somewhat limp and the hefty slosh of olive oil did little to disguise the fact. However, it wasn't unpalatable and... More

I spent a pleasant evening in the wine bar once (nice back yard) and thought it would be nice venue for a birthday party. I called to enquire about menus and was told by the landlady that she would get back in touch with information. I have since tried calling and emailing numerous times to absolutely no avail. Either the... More

Most of the food that the 13 of us had was luke warm , I had the duck which came out as one of the first, I was still waiting at the end for the potatoes and veg that should have been served with it and as a result the duck got cold. As it was rather expensive I asked... More
