This restaurant was recommended to us by a member of staff at our Hotel. The restaurant was very busy but the service was really very good. My starter & main was excellent, but I was very disappointed in my main course. I ordered steak "medium " but it Arrived very rare. I didn't send it back as I had poured... More

My wife and I were visiting our daughter in Chambéry and we twice visited this restaurant. Each time it was excellent. The first time we sat outside on a balmy evening and had a superb 3-course meal during which we tried some of the staples of French cuisine and a few different things besides. The fois gras was easily the... More

On an overnight stop in Chambery my husband and I had a meal here. We arrived just as the restaurant opened and it filled quickly after our arrival. No wonder. We went for the set menu and everything was wonderful, from the starter to the theatre of my dessert. It is a shame that it is so far to come... More

In the city centre of the beautiful old town of Chambery we had lunch in the back courtyard. The menu was excellent as was the house white wine and the service attentive. The bill for 4 came to a very reasonable 90€ including coffees. Highly recommended but you are better making a reservation.

Returned from a busy day of mountain biking, via ferrata and race watching, ready for an early dinner which is not the norm in France! It was Friday night and the town was busy so Jonathon from Hotel des Princes where we were staying made a reservation here. Since it was early, we were one of the few diners but... More

We arrived after a long drive, avoiding the nearby Tour de France route and after exploring the town left our run a bit late on for a Saturday night. There are so many restaurants in Chambery we decided to employ the iPhone app for TA and found that we were 5 minutes walk from this restaurant. We arrived at 8.45pm... More

Beautiful duck a l'orange and dessert in the company of a crowd of chambery locals. Savoyard wine by the glass all at very reasonable prices.

Another great TA App discovery! We went for lunch at Les Halles since we were in Chambery only for 24 hours and the restaurant is closed on Monday nights. We reserved, luckily, as this place seems to be always full, specifying we wanted to be outside (it was on a gorgeous day). We were nicely welcomed and sent to our... More

Wanted to go to this restaurant since day 1 in Chambéry, but for many reasons was not able. But suggested a friend of mine to go and she and 2 more appeared late at night, and instead of being sent away, like in most places, they were welcomed. They said the service is outstanding, and the food divine. I was... More

Had to try this restaurant to see if it met the number one rating, it definitely did. Great meal and service, luckily we arrived early enough to not need a booking but i think if you really want to try i would definitely book.
