I came to this restaurant four years ago and have been hoping to return but it has been full every time we've been back. The food was just as good as I remembered. The menu is simple with three set menus at different prices ranging from 22 to 46 euros. I went for the cheapest as I really fancied the... More

Once I walked in with my grandson, the lady said "we don't have a children's menu". I responded "he is not a child, he is my grandson" (however he is only six and a half!) But then, my grandson wanted a special entre: cannelloni (with snales) .... and they where delicious and he loved it. After that, the lady of... More

We were the only ones in the restaurant on a miserable Sunday night. Friendly welcome, followed by fantastic food & wine. The amuse bouche and a small bonus after dessert where the real icing on the cake. The three of all tasted each others courses. The couple who run the place chatted to us happily about their time in England,... More

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at this cosy and atmospheric restaurant in the old medieval town of Briancon. The young chef is talented, uses great fresh products and knows how to combine flavours. It was a pleasure to have such a high quality and gastronomique meal in Briancon. We had the 3 course meal which was value for money. Service... More

The set up of this small restaurant is very good and right at the middle of the historical road "La Gargouille". Booking in advance is obliged. The menu is good and well balanced. We have been there twice, the first time everything was perfect and food too, the second time we have found the menu a bit "lighter" and less... More

We visited here mid-late August, when it was towards the end of the season, but we are glad we booked because it was full. The food was wonderfully prepared and tasted amazing, but the only downfall was that we had to choose from 3 set menus of different prices with only 2 choices per course, which was limiting so it... One chef + one front of house and they love what they do combining local knowhow with top flight international experience. With no more than thirty places all the food and the service is personal. Every course was beautifully presented ,balanced and perfectly cooked. The surroundings are warm and relaxing , we came in as customers and left feeling as if... More

We recently dined at this restaurant and had a lovely evening, The food was wonderful, the service excellent and the head chef/owner (who came out to speak to us personally) was very friendly. Booked the table on the basis that this was the number 1 ranking restairant in Briancon and it certainly lived up to it.

We searched for places on a Sunday night in Briancon and found this..what a delight.food was superb, service was brilliant and the cost reasonable. Its in the old part of Briancon and we were made to feel very welcome and enjoyed our meal and the experience.
