Mortons is a refreshing café, bar and restaurant in Solihull cleverly designed to incorporate relaxed drinking and dining in one light and welcoming space. You can even dine alfresco on the tree-shaded terrace - all day every day. Located at Dickens Heath, Solihull and convenient for Shirley, our doors are open from 10am so that patrons can start the day with a delicious latte or energizing espresso, then move on to our famous brunch. Available till noon, our brunch menu offers a range of mouth-watering breakfasts such as scrambled eggs with smoked salmon or a traditional Mortons fry up. We also tempt our customers with fabulous handmade cakes on display at the bar and Monday to Friday 10 til 12 our teas and coffees come with complimentary toast. Champagne brunch - Simply our favourite way to start the day. With our sandwich menu available all day and our wonderful restaurant menu available 12pm – 3pm for lunch and 6pm – 9pm Monday to Saturday it’s no wonder we are well-known locally as the place to go for great food and a comprehensive selection of wines and beers. The mood changes on Sunday when it becomes obvious that Mortons has quite a following as a neighbourhood sanctuary. Read the papers and re-charge the batteries over a late breakfast or cappuccino and then indulge in a spectacular roast lunch. Mortons excels at slow cooked and spit-roasted meat with all the traditional accompaniments. What could be better? Its not just the food which is impressive, with its chunky cowhide sofas, imposing drift wood art and quirky modern style it’s easy to see why Mortons is everyone’s favourite. We strive to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where genuinely wonderful food is available seven days a week at affordable prices. Our extensive and imaginative menu is freshly prepared on site in the open kitchen and served to you by our friendly and efficient staff. Why aren’t you there yet!?

Nice visit to our local

This is our local and we visit every couple of weeks for a drink but, on this occasion, decided to eat too. The food was tasty but not spectacular (my husband had a burger and I had risotto) but what really made this a memorable visit was the service we received from Niamh. She was friendly... read more

No idea what the last person on here was doing but my meal was fantastic. We had this party for 90 year old great grandmother. Food she could eat, no trip hazards. Lovely atmosphere.

Unwilling, unhelpful staff and instead of being appreciated as a customer was made to feel a nuisance. The food when it arrived was fine although the order was incorrect. It wasn't rocket science. Always a friendly welcome at the Chalice which is where I will be visiting in future.

It's a few years since I ate at Mortons and I have to say how much the food has improved. I have never faulted anything there in the past but my meal this weekend was a 10/10. I no longer live in Solihull but I'm already planning my next trip as my mouth waters every time I think of it.... More

As the title states this place does not live up to the normal standards which The Lovely Pubs chain pride itself on. The one and only positive I can add really is the service is generally pretty good. On the negative side steak had to be sent back to the kitchen as it wasn't cooked as I'd asked (medium rare,... I would describe myself as a "fan" of Lovely Pubs and visit one of them 2 or 3 times a month. Last nights experience at Mortons was disappointing to say the least. Food was ok, salad a little overdressed and limp, husbands steak was overcooked and we had to send back and orders were confused and requests "forgotten". Service was... More

I went to Mortons with my family at the weekend - what a great place ! Atmopshere is laid back but the staff are very attentive - nothing is too much trouble. I had the swordfish which was absolutely amazing, as was the very naughty but delightful dessert of carrot cake ! If you havent been yet - make sure... More
