My kids had really liked the name of this place and, as we passed it twice every week, it seemed a good idea to try it out one day. Rolling up in a normal car is likely to be unusual on a Sunday when the whole car park gets taken over by motor bikes and interesting vintage cars. How on... More

Fabulous quantities of well cooked food in this traditional roadside diner. The 10oz burger is my personal favourite. Gets very busy at times but the staff cope well with the crowds. So much better than stopping at some awful motorway services.

Visiting the area we were recommended the Super Sausage for "the best breakfast" neither of us fancied the Travelodge offer for our two nights!! So Monday morning was our first visit, we both had the All day breakfast, not the biggest one I may add, but the standard which was plenty. The quality of the produce shone through and it was... To tell the truth we were in search of a comfort stop, not food/drink etc. However, what a lovely little place to stop. It's a 'biker cafe' but with an enormous car park. They obviously love motor-bikes but they also take a pride in the cafe being scrupulously clean. The loos were old but also spotlessly clean. We had two... More

Regular visitor and strong supporter of this place. But...... Not been great recently, as others have hinted. Today, my usual favourite of 2 sausage, 3 bacon, 2 eggs and chips, was disappointing. The sausages have changed. They are smaller and rather stubby these days. And the chips, which used to be piled over half the plate are now served in... More

We stopped for breakfast as part of a group and admittedly the cafe wad busy. Firstly the tea was stewed and far too bitter tasting to drink. The all day breakfast was ok but the fried bread was burnt very black and the sausage too. Shame really as I was so looking forward to my breakfast. Maybe it was because... More

We visit here on average 6 times a year and each time the food and service are faultless. Hubby had full monty breakfast which consists of 2 eggs, 3 bacon, 2 sausage, black pudding, beans , tomatoes, mushrooms, 2 has brown, 2 fried bread finished with 2 toast and tea. How he eats it all I will never know. Me... More

I have been meaning to go here for years. when my daughter suggested meeting for lunch I suggested the Super Sausage rather than a pub. Loved the American diner vibe and the food is fab. Massive portions and super quality.I had liver and bacon with mash and homemade gravy and my daughter had ham eggs and chips. Neither of us... More
