We visited Nicolas twice during our holiday. The place is very nice and invites you to relax (lots of information to read, backgammon and brain games, books ...). The food is OK (we went for a selection of meze and a Greek salad), and the service was very friendly. The place is very quiet at noon, but extremely busy in... More

We tried this place twice. It was pleasing on both occasions. The waiter was very friendly and efficient. My seven year old asked to go back hence a second visit. Very relaxed, people playing backgammon and chess at the dinner table in no rush to leave and not rushed to leave. Food quality very good. The menu perhaps too large... More

We actually ate three meals at this restaurant - two dinners and one lunch. The food was all great quality and tasted wonderful, especially the fried olives, fresh saganaki, great gyros, and free raki. It looks unassuming but you can tell by the lunch crowd that this is a local hangout. Highly recommend!

Great place with a great varied menu and the service is top notch too, agreed some things are oddly priced but 90% is great value for money! We ended up back there 3 times in 4 days.....

A real laid back island atmosphere, with an enormous menu of freshly made food at reasonable prices. Probably the original taverna in Folegandros, and they know what the customer wants.

We visited Folegandros 2 years running and loved the place,so many lovely restaurants,so many kind happy people,so much to see and do in such a short time.We had the same experience as last year at Nicolas, average plain cooked food, nothing special but a nice place to people watch,we were treated like king and queen by Vasilis the Bulgarian guy on our... I've been to Folegandros for two years in a row, and in my first time I avoided Nicolas, because it looked a little too touristy for my taste. It was a big mistake. The place is NOT touristy, and the food is authentic and better than the other restaurants in Chora. The menu is huge and offers a wide range... More

Nice setting, below average food. When my mom asked for balsamic vinegar for her bread the waiter nearly had a heart attack, almost shouted at her that she was in Greece not Italy... Yet on the menu they claim to do 'anything the way you want it' Really disappointed, 3rd time in Greece and never experienced this kind of nonsense... More

Mu husband visited Folegandrs 20 years ago as a student and this was apparently the only place that was there at that time. So of course the first morning of our Folegandros holidays we went here to eat. We tried their home made pastries which are really good, had of course some coffee which looks like a piece of art.... We went to this cafe every morning for our breakfast and never failed to be satisfied and entertained! The owner is brilliant, slightly grumpy but so efficient! We had bread and jam with coffee for 3 euros A lovely breakfast place with free internet, amazingly ornate cappuccinos and a huge choice of food
