I quite often take my parents here on a Saturday lunch. I have always found the staff obliging and the food simple but done well and served in good portions. Its important for us that things are predictable & that service is prompt but not rushed and. It usually is. More workaday than special but reflecting this I think it... More

I enjoyed a lovely lunch with family and drinks in a clean sunny beer garden. My Three year old had a great time using the play area!

Very disappointed with the service. We ordered dinner and had to wait 45 mins and when i complained because the people who came in after us got served first i got sneered at and told were very busy.

Took ages for us to be served at our table. The lamb casserole was average and nothing special. I had veggie Wellington that arrived with no gravy. I asked for veggie gravy and it did not come. So I asked the waitress and she said it got spilt. She brought a new one over and I was not confined it... More

I last visited the pub several months ago, it was full of uncontrolled kids running around and the food in my opinion was not good value for money. I could not wait to leave. it was very noisy. I will not be going there again.

We had a meal here last night. We must have waited for over an hour for our food to be served and it didn't appear to be very busy when we arrived. It was my sisters birthday so my sister and two nieces and their children were with me, 6 of us in all. When the food finally did arrive... More

Have visited here on a few occasions with friends, with and without children, usually at the weekend and for lunch. I've always found the staff to be attentive and efficient and the food to be tasty and reasonably priced. The portion sizes are on the generous side to, which is a bonus. Great seating area outside, very pleasant during the... More
