It's located on top of the hill,the view was so beautiful I admitted,but I didn't feel any hospitality here,my friend asked for another chairs and the waitress answered arrogantly,make us not feel comfortable also with the way they served and took order,so we decided only order the drink and samosa,the drink is so so..

the spot is fantastic, amazing views and ambience great, the food lacked imagination and variety ....but seemed wholesome....

if u have plan trip Kuta Lombok, don't be forget to visit this place. It's only 15 minutes motorbiking from Kuta beach to Mawun beach. it place on top hill so you can see beautifully scenery of South Lombok Beach. with Great environment and unique interior design, make u feel comfort and homy. The food taste is quite good too.

Wow...it's a little out of town...so get a motorbike and head up the hill to Ahstari. It's a magical place with lush vegetation and a beautiful zen building overlooking Kuta Bay...so bring your camera. A very good vegetarian restaurant ,with tsty inexpensive food and a magnificent hillside view of Kuta beach and coastline.Well worth the effort of getting there from Kuta beach,the road is being worked on,improved a lot from first visit,whicht was on a very bad road,but its improving,i did the 40 minute walk from town instead of risking a dangerouis motorcycle ride... Ashtari Cafe was a cozy and comfy place. We stopped by there during our journey to Mawun Beach. We enjoyed our time there while having their unique chocolate almond cake while watching the view of Kuta Beach for the hill.

As everyone else has said yes the view is amazing and even more satisfying when you made it up the hill with holes the size of small ponds in it!
