Best sea food restaurant in Greece

There is a vital difference about this place. These people love what they do and they are proud of it. The end result is just top notch. This is still just a fish restaurant so service is unpretentious but it is extremely efficient. Quality of food is just superb. Cant wait until my next visit to... read more

The best place where business meetings can happen joined by the best fish restaurant in the city! All types of mezes are delicious. Don't forget to order mussels or St. Jacobs mussels. They smell like sea. Prices 35-50€ per person with a glass of wine

We were a huge group of friends. Went to thalassa on a Saturday evening. The very aura of the place is that of a charming Greek cafe ... Overlooking the see, lit all over with fairy lights, the whole decor in white with absolutely lovely music and very upbeat crowd. The menu offers a variety of dishes...we had ordered almost... More

I've been to seafood restaurants with great reputation in Paris, London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Athens and many other places and I can definitely say that Mavri Thalassa was better. I usually do not find restaurants that exceed my expectations but Mavri Thalassa was one of these rare occasions. Very fresh seafood, prepared in ways that make it irresistible. We had prawns,... Food 3/3 service 3/3 Ambience 2/3 Value for money 1/3 If you decide to visit the restaurant you should DEFINITELY ask for the menu and NOT let the owner or the waiters to propose their own suggestions. Their policy is to charge 50+ euros /person (it repeatedly happened to me all the times I visited the restaurant and it's the... More

Really a pleasant surprise. Every single dish was excellent. Inspired and tasty. Also rather economical for what was offered. For six people, including a sizable fish, several appetizers, salads, and wine it came out at about 50 euros per person. Great for both business dinner as well.
