I've been to seafood restaurants with great reputation in Paris, London, Copenhagen, Stockholm, Athens and many other places and I can definitely say that Mavri Thalassa was better. I usually do not find restaurants that exceed my expectations but Mavri Thalassa was one of these rare occasions. Very fresh seafood, prepared in ways that make it irresistible. We had prawns,... Food 3/3 service 3/3 Ambience 2/3 Value for money 1/3 If you decide to visit the restaurant you should DEFINITELY ask for the menu and NOT let the owner or the waiters to propose their own suggestions. Their policy is to charge 50+ euros /person (it repeatedly happened to me all the times I visited the restaurant and it's the... More

Really a pleasant surprise. Every single dish was excellent. Inspired and tasty. Also rather economical for what was offered. For six people, including a sizable fish, several appetizers, salads, and wine it came out at about 50 euros per person. Great for both business dinner as well.

Excellent ingredients and cooking. Everytime the fish is extremely fresh as also the vegetables which are of high quality. Try the sardines, the white grouper, tarama, french fries and prawns. A bit more expensive than the other restaurants but well worth it.

Fish restaurant. i There is no great variety of fish but always fresh. They are perfectly cooked, most of the time, roasted. You must try streamed sol with delicious sauce. Flavors are simple. The service is absolutely perfect. Do not miss it. You can go there with friends family and for business meals. We have been eaten there many years.... More

Even though I have only been here once for a family dinner ( me and my friends can't afford it. You need bout 30 euros a person to eat well and drink) , I can easily say it is the best fish restaurant in town . The service is nothing really special , but all the fish is fresh and... More
