Three of us visited for lunch all having a different choice. All of them were generous potions, well cooked, well presented, pleasant staff. A most enjoyable experience. Lots of interesting choice on the menu definitely NOT a boring pub chain.

we enjoyed a lovely cosy home cooked dinner here, which was great value and the pub has a really nice atmosphere. was clearly very popular so booking is essential.

Meals are excellent for the price and staff are very accommodating, nice friendly atmosphere, only problem I found was the ramp at the front door was a bit steep for a disabled person who struggles walking. but apart from that, Great

The food is great, with a huge menu to choose from! Everything is veery reasonably priced especially for the portion sizes! They are huge! Only issue I ever have here is slow service.

After being a vegetarian for 22 years I decided to eat meat again & The Windmill is where I had my 1st steak it was fantastic, been again since for another and just as good. We've been here a few times for lunch and tea and never let down. Staff so friendly highly recommend. We never book either so great... More
