This is a quality restaurant and excellent value for what you get. It is beautifully constructed of timber and thatch, a rariety these days. It is decorated with lovely objects. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Gluten free dishes are listed on the menu, but double check as a wafer thing on our beef rendang plate turned out not... More

The Laut Biru Cafe (Blue Sea Cafe) sits on a pristine white sand warm water beach with palm trees, a local fishing village, and a calm surf. The mountains around are all shades of green as are the groves of palm trees and the naturally farmed rice paddies. In the kitchen at this lovely cafe, built in the local architectural... More

A massive surprise to find exceptional food with an explosion of flavour. All in great portions leaving you satisfied but wanting more. You can even have a private setting on the beach. We stayed at Sempiak villas perched above. The food, accommodation and away from it all experience was brilliant. Up there with our best.

The food is very good and the setting is fabulous... not to be missed. The great beach is only about a five stroll away. It is about a 45 minute scooter drive away from Kuta through very pretty countryside.

Set back from the beach you will find this wonderful setting. Good food at a reasonable price. We enjoyed the experience every time we went there. To get there, you don't have to park in the public parking. Look out for their sign on the main street.

We were staying at Sempiak Villas which is up the hill from this restaurant so we ate here about 5 times. Excellent food. Every meal we had was super tasty, well presented and reasonably priced given the quality of the food and the service. The staff in the restaurant are really friendly and attentive. Highly recommend a visit.

Driving around Kuta, this cafe is a wonderful oasis in an eating place desert. We didn't stay at the Sempiak villas but would certainly book there if in the vicinity again. Lunch set us up for the day. Very good indeed.

Me and my partner got lost with the motorbike and decided to explore a little bit. Suddenly we ended up in this very beautiful cafe where we had and amazing food. We just followed the signs to this restaurant without a clue on what to expect. On arrival we were absolutely blown away by the beautiful `lumping` - the traditional Sasak abode built using native materials. The level of attention to detail is fascinating and we spent a longtime just admiring the building and the workmanship. The restaurant was as good... More
