from start to finish this was a disappointing experience, i am hoping we got them on an off day, firstly we were supposed to be waitress for our own order when an abrupt staff member asked us for our table number, we completed order by asking for a jug of water and proceeded to sit down, when she hollered over... If you want to enjoy some traditional Irish music while having a cold Guinness in a brown pub, you should definitely make a stop at the O'Connors Pub. There are a lot of tourists, but you hardly notice it. Very cosy pub with a lot of ambiance! Next door, it's also possible to eat dinner but it seems to be... More

Spent a great Monday evening at O'Connors pub. The meal was super and really good value. The staff were courteous and helpful and the entertainment was all I expected of it and wanted. Traditional Irish music and good crack. Would recommend this for a lively atmosphere and good food and music.

We arrived in Doolin on a Sunday morning and was hungry and really didn't want to do anymore driving on the wrong side of the road, so we parked at our b&b across the street and went into the pub. We had a very nice breakfast. We were told the music starts at 6 on Sunday night and to come... More

Have been living in Ireland over 17 years and started visiting in the 1960's. Hands down, Gus O'Connor's Pub in Doolin has THE BEST "Pub Grub" in Ireland that I've had thus far! Grab a seat, tell the Bar Man your table number, place & pay for your order at the bar. In less than 5 minutes I was served... More

We go to O'Connor's at least once a month for a bowl of seafood chowder and a shared toastie. We've been during this for 8 years. I've noticed in the past few months the rich quality of the seafood chowder has changed. Today when we received our order, in addition to the lack of richness in the chowder, the toastie... More

A gorgeous steak sandwich. This pub is crazy busy and you may be waiting for a long time to get a seat but the staff have a void system that works. Cost pub for a few drinks!

The ambiance at O'Connor's pub is warm and inviting, if you can get through the door on a night when music is being played. The food, however, is uninspired. Great for a pint but not so much for a meal.
