We stopped here on a day tour to the cliffs of Moher. The food was great. We had seafood chowder, Guinness and beef pie, the goat cheese tartlet and the cottage pie. All are highly recommended. You should skip the sandwiches, however.

Lovely pub, with seating at tables made from (I believe) vintage treadle sewing machines with cast iron frames. Excellent service, fine trad. Americans complaining about all the Americans, but Irish there as well, and what can one do about the former?

a must experience if in the area. amazing music nightly. staff and locals amazingly friendly. food was outstanding ( & i'm a foodie). go during the day to experience more of the local flair and head back in the evening for dinner and music. everything was fresh and fun. amazing history of seven generations with musicians and flair. don't miss.

The pub was bustling as it was a Saturday night; they had a 50th birthday and a hen do but managed to accommodate us a find table for a party of 7 as we'd already booked for dinner. The trad music was fab and the pub has a great atmosphere! My only other comment is that the vegetarian option wasn't... More

We enjoyed this pub in Doolin so much that we ate there two nights. The salmon dinner and the fish and chips were excellent. The atmosphere was cozy and the musicians were great. A true Irish pub experience!

And music! Known for it's local sessions, where any number of musicians can be found in the evening, playing lively Irish jigs or sad songs of the past. You'll learn a lot from these folks! But the food...I mean the FOOD! Everything we had was top notch (and we are foodies). Lamb and gravy, Guinness stew, mussels, chicken curry, even... More

We visited on recommendation from my parents, who'd eaten here several times during their stay in Doolin in September 2013. We ate dinner here one night and liked it so much we came back two days later for lunch. The mussels were fresh and delicious and the chowder was one of the best I've ever had. Our favorite part was... More

If you're in the area, pop into O'Connors for the fish and chips! Along with the fantastic local music and delicious pints, the fish here is wonderful. Large portions of fresh cod, lightly breaded and fried. Oh, and the Mussels were great as well! The largest portion of delicious mussels I've ever seen...definitely share! But definitely order them. The people... More

We rented a house for a week in Ireland and I wanted it to be something out of Waking Ned Devine so I picked Doolin. A fantastic little village on the edge of the West Coast and in the center of town was a fun spot called O'Connors. Doolin is known for being the home of traditional Irish music and... More
