Great little traditional pub. Beer was cold, food was delicious. We had a seafood chowder that was great. Wait staff was very kind and they weren't to busy. We were afraid it would be a bit tourist filled but it actually wasn't! Just a great place to stop in and have a beer & a bite to eat.

We were afraid because of its central location it would be touristy but we were wrong...the cottage pie was delicious, the beer was cold and the music was the best we've heard in Ireland! There was a group of 4 musicians who played wonderful Irish music and now and again "Ted" would belt out a song or two in his... More

It’s a typical crowded Irish pub, (no music the evening we were there), with typical dishes: we had a fish and chips and one hamburger (good and tasty) for my son, salmon with ratatouille (above the average) for my wife, pork with black pudding (very, very good) for me and two pints of beer. We had no space for the... More

Well situated in the centre of this lovely town the pub was buzzing at lunch time. Several dim rooms furnished with heavy timbered furniture and bright staff that were courteous and helpful. Our food was well portioned and flavoursome and the service brisk. Good for a fun afternoon

We had wanted to spend an evening listening to traditional music and got the chance here. We thought that the food wouldn't be great due to the fact that the pub was packed and touristy, but how wrong we were. Despite being rushed off their feet the staff were kind and efficient and the food was great (I recommend the... More

Good pub food, we each found something we liked a lot. Good location, easy to walk to from pier. We would stop again.

Patrick T owns and runs this pub.....a true gentleman who works behind the bar almost always.....this is an historic pub in Ireland....once featured in a full-page feature in Time magazine (when Time was relevant) around the same time that it boasted the highest number of Guinness taps of all the Irish pubs....music sessions are practically guaranteed each evening...and definitely if... We had here probably our best night out in Ireland, good food, authentic Irish music and a warm atmosphere made it perfect.

My wife chose cod and chips and I went for the lasagne. Both meals were big portions and nice and hot. A hungry person would have been satisfied with the meals size. The bar can get very busy in the summer season and we were both served not too long after our orders were taken. The food is not gourmet but... More

We visited Doolin at the August bank holiday weekend. We stayed in Nagle's campsite (5 star) and are both nights in O'Connor's. It was very very busy, but staff aren't stressed. They helped us (a family of 5) get a table. Children's menu is keenly priced and good quality, our food was super, hot and fresh. It's not gourmet but... More
