We came in to Fitzpatrick's hungry and cranky, we left delighted. We decided to share a few different appetizers and each one was a delightful course to itself, with prices that are very reasonable when you see the portions. OK - we were at the Doolin Hotel and Fitzpatrick's was next door. We went in and it was mobbed - World Cup Finals. We were able to get a seat and stay for the whole game. I cannot remember the name of the dish but it was a Seafood Shepard's Pie and it was incredible. They also had a... More

We ended up going to Fitz's all 3 nights that we were in Doolin. We'd been to Gus O'Connor's a few years before & enjoyed it enough, but it was a little dated & maybe a smidgen too rustic. Fitz's, by comparison, is new & modern with a very large pub section in the front & an expansive restaurant in... More

We dined here on Saturday evening about 7pm. Despite not being too busy, we waited 2 hours for our food. 3 tables were served before us despite arriving afterwards. The plates were huge but some of the ingredients mentioned on the menu were missing. The steak (which was expensive) was disappointing and full of fat. We won't be returning!

Visited Saturday evening March 14th. Served very quickly..wife had Heineken..myself a nice crisp Bulmers. I had a chowder for starters...while there was plenty of fish...it could have been more creamier or thicker...a little bit on the watery side. For main course we shared the Trawler...and what a surprise...tierd plates with battered cod, prawns, fishcakes, crabmeat and crab claws,Oysters, smoked and poached Salmon, mussels and more.It... More

I ate here on the way to the Cliffs of Moher, I had salmon with vegetables. The food was delicious and the fish was some of the best I ever had! The atmosphere of the place is typically Irish and it looks really cosy. I wish I lived closer to eat there again but if I happened to be in... More

Stopped in Doolin on the way back from the Cliffs of Moher. Nice homey restaurant. I had the seafood shepherds pie which was outstanding. Big chunks of seafood and great flavor. Perfectly seasoned. Went great with a pint of Guinness. I definitely recommend stopping. Not much else to see in Doolin.

Had a delicious and copious carvery lunch. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Will return whenever in the area.

I wanted to try something I had not eaten before, so I tried the salmon. It was fabulous. A cream sauce on top with a side of what seemed to be kale, and carrots, mashed potatoes, and of course a small potato on the side. Washed it all down with a Sprite in an old-fashioned bottle. Ate on the patio... More

Arrived on a Monday at lunch time with 2 small kids. The bar was absolutely freezing, you can tell as much when your two year old asks to put his jacket back on. The carvery itself had 5 options, 5! I've never seen so limited a menu for carverys. They had no chips / fries and one of the 5... More
