For being so central, the staff was unfriendly (we actually got shushed) and they advertise having t-shirts for sale in the pub when in fact they send you on a wild goose chase to different tourism offices that are only open on the weekends. The only redeeming factor is that it has the widest local beer selection.

Thank you, Fitzpatrick's, for the fun we had dancing to the uilleann pipes and the bazouki that evening. It is a favorite Irish-trip experience/memory.

The food at Fitzpatrick's was well-prepared and tasty. Service was a bit slow although the bar was crowded. I had the crab claws which were excellent and my wife had the fish and chips which was plentiful and cooked perfectly.

As Craft Beer Lovers we were thrilled to discover some different options at Fitz's. The bartenders were very attentive and knowledgeable about their offerings. We enjoyed the local meat and cheese plate while listening to the live, local music on a Tuesday night.

Stopped here on a Paddy Wagon tour. Food was ok, I prefer Murphy's to Guiness but they were out. Overall decent place to stop on the way to the Cliffs.

We stopped for lunch after our trip to the Cliffs. Although it was after 12 noon, they weren't quite ready for lunch, since the tourist buses come in later. However, the staff accommodated us and we ordered the Chowder and the Lamb Special. Both were good, but we were hoping that the menu had more seafood specials. We looked online... More

I stayed 3 days in Doolin area and found this to be the best place for food and drink during the afternoon, to early evening hours. Great service with smiles. Irish and not american music piped in back ground music!!! Another place I will be back too!

This pub serves delicious food, our dinner there was one of the best we had during our trip in Ireland. The ambiance is charming, service very satisfactory and music toe tapping. Doolin is a very small town with only a few places to choose from - choose this one! Not being a drinker, I can't talk to the pints, but... More

We stopped at Fitz's Bar in Doolin for lunch after our tour of the Cliffs of Moher. We were very hungry and the carvery was delicious. We got the Cajun crispy chicken and the pork. You choose your meat, then they pile on roasted potatoes, mashed potatoes and gravy, cabbage and carrots. It was so good I even ate the... More
