Great dining experience

Although menu was not extensive, the food was excellent! Service was prompt and friendly. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to go back.

We went to the Doolin Cafe based on the reviews here. Maybe it was our meal choices, but it was not the greatest lunch we had in Ireland. Limited Gluten Free options for my husband. Service was OK, but not as friendly as we expected - it was quite busy and is a very small place, too cold to eat... More

Great homemade food, with excellent presentation!! The decoration is very pretty and rustic! I recommend the tartlets and the scones but everything seamed excellent! And the cream was delightful!!

Lunch was delightful and the coffee just hit the spot. However they do not accept credit cards to be wary of that. I had to cycle another mile down the road for an ATM having cycled from Ballyvaughan! Lovely lunch though and worth the hassle. Spot in if your passing it will be worth if you are hungry.

Fast service is always a plus should you be on a coach trip where stops need to be under 40 minutes to keep to schedule. We enjoyed seafood chowder, envying thos who opted for Irish Sausage (Bangers) and mash or succulent salmon.

Really good breakfast. keep your eyes peeled though as it is hard to find and we were there for 3 days and only found it by chance on the last day. We drove past it about 5 times over the weekend and never noticed it even though there is a sign outside.

What a little gem of a restaurant and a nice surprise in the near wilderness of Doolin. The food was scrumptious though a little on the expensive side. Our server was a lovely American lady who made us feel right at home with her friendly and helpful demeanour.
