Wonderful room, hosts and food. Marian and Frank have figured it all out. I wish them the best! We had many choices for our breakfast, only one of which was a full Irish breakfast. The menu was a traveler's delight.

Simply a fine restaurant that knows how to handle very good ingredients. Friendly service combined with comfortable seating and nice décor (including the view!) provides an excellent setup. Food is excellent. Chicken 3 ways and lamb chops are really good but for me fish dishes are the real winners. Check the daily special or go with a la carte Hake.... More

Because of the good presentation of the food you expect the taste to be fantastic and Michelin star worthy, but despite the good products that are used, it is not very rich in flavor and I miss a somewhat surprising taste experience. Because the portions are a bit on the small side, I think the prices are just a little... More

We visited in August - at the height of the Summer - so we're very glad we had booked. We were a large party of seven but we're comfortably seated in a light and airy room. The service is very good and the food was absolutely delicious. The menu was interesting and varied but too fussy - (something I find... More

We had actually never heard of this restaurant before and we were so impressed. It was so homely, and the staff were lovely and friendly! They have a value meal menu... More

The Food was amazing both in presentation and taste, We had main course and desert and bottle of great wine - It is so good to go to a place where the staff actually care and know the right kind of advice to give customers. We were very well looked after and thoroughly the meal.

We were a party of six and to a man (and woman) we all enjoyed every dish we ordered. I had the parfait to start which was just about perfect. My main course was Chicken 3 Ways which I absolutely recommend. All desserts were excellent especially the brilliantly named Chocolate. For first class food the pricing was perfectly reasonable. The... More

This was our second visit to Roadford House, both the B&B and the restaurant. Sometimes in life we have a good experience, look forward to the repeat, and are then disappointed that expectation exceeds reality. Not so in this case. As before, the menu was imaginative, the food beautifully prepared, and the service impeccable. Not only that, the whole place... More
