While on our 2014 trip to Ireland, my wife and I had the good fortune to stay at the Roadford House. We were travelling with friendsand arrived in Doolin on September 23, 2014. We had the good sense, after viewing the menu for the evening, to join Marian and Frank for dinner at the restaurant. I still have the pictures... More

Fantastic front of house, professional beyond belief. Five star menus equally matched by the quality of the food. Very knowledgeable presentation of a good wine list. Incredibly clean and well presented business. You must not miss this place if you are anywhere nearby.

dinner was included in our package and it was great, creative, relaxing and the perfect ending to a busy touring day. Breakfast reached the high level set by dinner. We were thrilled with every meal.

Everything about this gourmet meal was perfect - presentation, taste, service, surroundings, view of the countryside. Recommend the early bird menu for the price sensitive. The smoked salmon was from the Burren smokehouse. Our hostess also made an excellent recommendation for Irish music afterwards at one of the local pubs.

I think what makes a good restaurant is , they make everything look simple and nothing is any fuss. But what they achieve is prefection on a plate, very well presented good food with a good selection of main coarses and lovely desserts

Lovely restaurant with very helpful staff. I was with a group of girls and we all ate everything even deserts. We never felt rushed and it was a very pleasant atmosphere.

Wonderful room, hosts and food. Marian and Frank have figured it all out. I wish them the best! We had many choices for our breakfast, only one of which was a full Irish breakfast. The menu was a traveler's delight.

Simply a fine restaurant that knows how to handle very good ingredients. Friendly service combined with comfortable seating and nice décor (including the view!) provides an excellent setup. Food is excellent. Chicken 3 ways and lamb chops are really good but for me fish dishes are the real winners. Check the daily special or go with a la carte Hake.... More

Because of the good presentation of the food you expect the taste to be fantastic and Michelin star worthy, but despite the good products that are used, it is not very rich in flavor and I miss a somewhat surprising taste experience. Because the portions are a bit on the small side, I think the prices are just a little... More

We visited in August - at the height of the Summer - so we're very glad we had booked. We were a large party of seven but we're comfortably seated in a light and airy room. The service is very good and the food was absolutely delicious. The menu was interesting and varied but too fussy - (something I find... More
