Great food, great service, very family friendly

We are a family of 6, 2 adults and four children. This restaurant has now become one of the highlights of our trips to Clare. We booked the table for 6.30 which turned out to be the ideal time for young children. The staff were very friendly and took an interest in the children. The chicken salad... read more

Was in stonecutters kitchen today for lunch and the food was very good. However when i got my bill i realised i was charged €2.50 for a jug of water with a dash of orange. Outrageous, what a rip off. Won't be going back for this reason alone. RIP OFF REPUBLIC IS ALIVE AND WELL.

Stopped off in the rain and delighted the kids were entertained with toys inside. Food lovely and not too pricey for a tourist area. Would definitely recommend and will come back. Thanks😆.

Driving to the Cliffs of Moher I noticed the funny yellow banners along the road: tired? hungry? thirsty? .... I answered yes to all those questions and I ended up into this family run restaurant located in an isolated position by the road. The members of staff were very welcoming and they offered us one of the last tables available... More

The service was great and so was the food. We came here to eat for our anniversary and were really happy with our choice. It was cosy, homely and welcoming

Visited this restaurant enroute to the cliffs of moher. It's very quaint, rural and very homely. I felt like I was in their kitchen. It's old fashioned small but very nice..has a very "country" feel.its cosy. Lovely staff very friendly.food was very tasty and reasonable priced. Would recommend if passing thru Doolin

Had heard great things about this restaurant, very disappointed. Hugely inflated sense of their own quality. Staff barely interested in their customers, food mediocre, location and premises nothing special. I realize they are a business trying to make a living but try a bit harder people!

After a trip to the Cliffs of Moher turned the corner and found this delightful Cafe. Menu looked good overall and we opted for tea and cakes (delicious) before running the kids around the sweet playground in front with views of the sea in the distance. Well worth a stop for food and play.

Warm welcome, great staff, fabulous food. This Stonecutter polished 'a diamond in the rough', who would think that you would get food this caliber in this far out post. Beef and guineas stew melts in your mouth, seafood pasta unbelievable! Homemade desserts, too delicious to pass up. Family friendly, staff make the kids feel at home.
