We enjoy Tapas and decided to visit on the Wednesday evening for that reason. The car park is small but we managed to find a space on a rainy evening. The restaurant is also on the small size with a bar area and a few tables downstairs and the kitchen and main dining area upstairs. We enjoyed drinks at the... More

This could be a real fab little restaurant in a lovely village. Nice bar downstairs, restaurant nicely set out upstairs. Head Bar Man very attentive and welcoming. The Head Chef clearly a perfectionist with how the food looks on the plate and it was good. Here are the negative points: No atmosphere and that bad there was a guy asleep... More

Wednesday night is tapas night £12.95 for 3 choices, although the dishes are quite small, with 6 of us sharing there was enough to go at. Not many other people in there, only one other table occupied. Food is good, but you have to climb stairs to get to restaurant .

We had a quite good meal, but the open kitchen area is immediately next to the dining area, when we arrived the air had a bluish haze which was the impact of some hot oil cooking. We found that several of the wines we wanted were unavailable, they were waiting for their wholesaler to deliver !!! just go and buys... More

We went on a nice sunny Sunday evening. First of all, we had drinks in the bar downstairs and we made full use of happy hour, which included pretty much everything. Cocktails were delicious! Plenty of choice on the menu, but we all opted for the Market Special menu, 2 courses for £10.95, 3 for £12.95. Really good choice too.... More

I went for my birthday with my mum. The service was second to none and the food was amazing. We had Duck and Scallops to start with, Lamb and Sea Bass for mains with Creme Brûlée for desert. It far surpassed anything I've had before at a "local restaurant" and I had no complaints at all - everything was prefect.... More

The bar was buzzing when we got there the atmosphere was alive. Went upstairs to eat the food was out of this world. Scallops to die for, duck with stuffed vine leaf the best starter ever eaten. I had a steak it was delicious everyone else was impressed with their meals, suckling pig and fish. All fresh taste divine could... More

The service was very friendly, and the food was superb. Started with scallops which were gorgeous, and we then had steaks which were some of the best we have ever had. The house wine was excellent, and the bill wasn't bad at all. Would recommend this place to anyone.

Food excellent and staff very friendly. Well worth a visit. You are able to view the cooking going on. Been previously under different ownership, which wasn't good. The new owners have changed everything and the food is fantastic. You won't be disappointed.
