The Beeches Bar and Grill is an informal yet chic restaurant in the appealing village setting of Hampton in Arden, with chunky wooden tables inviting you to enjoy scenic views over the rolling hills of the West Midlands. Featuring six different steaks in varying sizes, the restaurant also has plenty of grilled fish, sharing platters, salads and tapas options, with roasts on Sundays. The restaurant is inspired by a simple take on top quality dining, offering a comfortable venue for anything from a lazy weekend brunch to a quick drink after work or even a round of golf. Despite its relaxed atmosphere however, it is still stylish enough to bring a touch of class to an evening out. Warm colours, cosy sofas and daily newspapers are also part of the experience. Whatever the reason for dining, you can look forward to a friendly welcome.

Lovely family meal

We visited in March 2015, with my parents and our two yr old and all enjoyed a lovely meal. Lovely food, wine and even a few good real ales. The garden is wonderful for children, so make it easy to keep little ones occupied.

My brother travelled from Bristol, and I from Oswestry to meet at this restaurant before going to the Sting & Paul Simon concert at the N.E.C The food was excellent we both had the beef Wellington . We explained that we had some timing issues and the staff could not have been more accommodating. All in all it was a... More

This restaurant is a real jewel, the food is excellent, with Chef willing to alter dishes to suit. Setting is perfect - not too far from Solihull town centre but far enough to be in a rural setting with lovely views over the local countryside. Service is superb, even outstanding. I have been for evening dinner, mid morning brunch and... More

We had a wonderful meal here this evening despite the restaurant being rather raucous, due to two large tables dining at the same time. To be honest this didn't exactly create the ambience we were hoping for, but it was easy to tell that normally it would be a lovely, relaxing place to eat. The waiter was extremely apologetic for... Visited this restaurant with a client - needed somewhere suitable that was gastro-pub territory. The menu, along with the food, surpassed expectation. We all went in thinking we would have salads but the menu engaged our taste buds and we had seabass, beef wellington and tandoori lamb shank. The latter was cooked perfectly - tender, flavoursome and more than enough... More

A party of four had a celebration meal at the Beeches last Saturday. We all had three courses and everyone was very satisfied with their meal and we were certainly spoilt for choice. Service was average for a busy Saturday night, with staff being pleasant. Some prices are a tad high, wine reasonably priced. Would certainly recommend and we will... More

My wife and I took our son and his fiancee out to dinner at this restaurant. Service was good but not overbearing. My wife and I had the prix fixe which was good value for money. My son and his fiancee had steaks My son's steak was ordered as "blue" and came out a little overcooked but this was remedied... More

Came here for lunch with friends. The place was very busy but the service was still good. Food was great. The only down side was that the place was freezing cold and there was no where to park. Would definitely go back though and would recommend.

Easy to find when you know where it is !! Busy, contemporary restaurant/pub ( more a restaurant though ). Attentive and polite staff, Prices ok and I had a very good Herefordshire fillet. Mmmm , thinking about it the staff did frown quite a bit - but it was a busy Saturday night. Worth a visit though

Went for the first time recently with a party of friends. There were 11 of us I know but the service was rather slow, we ended up eating a lot later than expected. However the food was very tasty indeed, everyone enjoyed their different dishes enormously and we had a very relaxing fun evening. Will definitely go again with my... More
