We have visitted this restaurant many times over the last 20 years and it has changed owners a few times, but by far this team are far superior. On entering you are met and taken to your table, given a menu each to peruse and offerred something to drink while making your mind up which takes some time due to... More

We called at the Station House on our way to (hopefully) see the dolphins at Channory Point, as soon as we walked in we were made to feel extremely welcome, the choice of whisky is unbelieveable.. Being a cold day I decided on the cream of leek soup to start, my compliments to the chef, the nicest soup I have... More

I recently returned to this restaurant for the first time in 10 months. Last time I visited we had an excellent meal but this time we were not so impressed. The surroundings were fine but I have to say the standards have slipped a bit. Everyone had starters in our group of four but two of them were tepid rather... More

First time at the Station Hotel and will not be the last. Good menu selection of local produce which was cooked to perfection and with a healthy portion size to match. Seafood platter was one of the best we have tried and a lot better value than one recently sampled on the West Coast. Other dishes ordered included one of... More

My wife and I, along with our daughter and son-in-law, have had Sunday lunch here three times recently. We booked each time and were given the table of our choice. The service is first rate. Staff are welcoming, friendly and helpful. All our dishes were served quickly but we never felt rushed. The wide range of starters, mains and puddings... More
