Wonderful food and service

An amazing meal with good choice. The service was attentive but not pretentious.the 'little' extras really make you feel special. The chocolate sphere dessert is a must for chocolate lovers.

I am late writing this review but that is my own forgetfulness but I didn't forget my wonderful experience of Sika. I went there in February for my birthday and on entering the restaurant was warmly welcomed by the staff, our waiter an Italian girl then introduced herself and asked us if we had any questions about the menu. We had a wonderful meal here on our wedding anniversary . The food was so flavoursome and beautifully presented. The staff were attentive and very welcoming . We visited a few years ago when the restaurant was managed by Gordon Ramsey but it really was not good and we started to go the Four Seasons Hotel in Dublin instead. We... More

Gourmet food served as a two or three course meal. 5 options I believe. I had the fish which was served in an unusual manner but tasted good and my husband had one of the beef items, I tried his and I wished I had chosen differently wow it had some sort of Bacon chutney that was to die for.... One of the best meals we've had. Food was exquisite, the flavours outstanding. Service was brilliant. George waited on our table, very helpful and gave us great advice on our menu choices and also on an upcoming holiday. We'll definitely be back.

The chef prepared marvelously creative and fresh Irish cuisine -- that is, it was inspired by local ingredients and dishes, but elevated to be sophisticated and delicious in a... More

The Sika Restaurant is located in the Powerscourt Hotel which in turn is located in the beautiful Powerscourt estate. The views of Sugar Loaf mountain from the table were stunning. Service was excellent with friendly welcoming staff and the food was exceptional. The menu is short offering a choice of five starters, main courses and deserts. The menu is priced... More
