BIG Irish breakfast!

A lovely Irish restaurant with helpful staff and delicious, LARGE Irish breakfast and good coffee. We didn't want the black or white pudding, and they were quite happy to exchange those for something different. Restrooms were clean. The restaurant has various sections which gives it a more cosy... read more

Been here in a weekend afternoon for a small snack with my family and ordered a hot chocolate with a heated ham and cheese croissant for my self and couldn't believe on what I got... A tiny horrible croissant totally pressed with a tiny bit of ham and cheese for almost 5€!!! What an insult and a rip-off!

Having been various times at the cafe inside Powerscourt, this time we decided to try a local in nearby Enniskerry (literally 5 mins. by car from Powerscourt). We found The Kingfisher's Kitchen elegantly decorated and furnished. Little touches like the light coloured stone walls, lit chimney and large window panes make the whole ambient appear bright, spacious and homely. The... More

We had the all day breakfast here, served really quickly by the friendly staff and cooked to perfection.

Had breakfast here Saturday October 3. Scrambled eggs were dry and almost cold. Toast was not toasted but warmed. My friend asked for a boiled egg and was served a hard boiled egg without a shell. The waitress had to ask us what the difference was. Picture 1 is the Kingfishers badly cooked €7 breakfast, picture 2 is yesterday's breakfast... More

Good customer service, food is absolutely delicious, i can truly recommend a goat's cheese salad with figs, sundried tomatoes, rocket salad, pickled peppers, crispy prosciutto and honey-mustard dressing. A very good quality goat's cheese, even chips taste so good! Best goat's cheese salad i have ever had:)I hope to be back there, as I am from Kilkenny.

We ate here after a morning of adventure in the Wicklow mountains. This place looked all of a hearty diner with good solid food (well branded) first off we ordered coffees and honey for one of us, 3 times we had to ask for the honey then ordered 1 streak sandwich and chips and 2 kebab and chips. The chips... More

Visited this restaurant twice in 10 days and both times were very disappointing. The first time I ordered a chicken fillet burger with a side order of fries my friend ordered fries and two eggs. We had to wait for over 45 minutes for the food to come and when it did my chicken was not edible. The outside of... More

The number 44 bus drops you off across the square from the Kingfisher's Kitchen. The restaurant has great food and friendly staff. Enniskerry is a small village well worth visiting. The 44 bus runs once per hour.
