Pricey Chinese

What is it about Ireland that Chinese restaurants charge exorbitant sums of money. A shame because there is a good choice of main dishes all well prepared and plenty of it. It just should not be this painful when the bill fetched up....

Dinner was nice, the usual Chinese dishes are on offer. The food is tasty and the dishes that say hot...means hot, which is a good thing. The decor is nice and so were the staff. I would recommend here for couples and Families. The prices are reasonable too.

Nice food. Ok ambience. Food was basic. Take away quality. Nothing flash but portions generous. Overall a nice meal and not expensive.

Typical Chinese restaurant, had the set menu for 18 euro, not a huge amount of choice but suited perfect. We did think that they rushed a little and the prawn crackers were a little on the stale side.

We dined here on a Thursday night and as it happened we were the only people eating in the restaurant. Our group was 2 adults and 3 kids. The first thing that struck us was that it is quite expensive for a Chinese restaurant. The food was good and the service was decent. Our bill for 5 was almost €90.... More

We really enjoyed the meal, I had tiger prawns in wasabi and my fiancée had the chicken and cheese rolls for starter, both were lovely. The main course chicken and duck Thai curries were lovely too. Overall though we found the prices a bit too high considering its a country restaurant. There was a local woman having a huge argument... More

Although the restaurant was slightly more expensive than any other restaurants in Lahinch, its service and food were incredibly awesome. Atmosphere there was nice - suited best for couples. The food was worth the price because of the restaurant setting, unlike another Chinese restaurant (Pearl Chinese restaurant) next door, which provided awful service & food. Fillet beef with Szechuan sauce... More

Have been to the emperor quite a few times. I always enjoy the food here. The chicken cheese spring rolls are to die for, they really are beautiful and very well presented. The amber fire beef is in a world of it's own, spectacular, I highly recommend it. The schezuan beef is also amazing. I love spicy food and these... More

Had it while traveling to Lahinch in July. Firstly, overprice. Easily I can find cheaper and better Chinese food of better standard in Lahinch. Appearance of food seems passable but taste is disappointing. not only me....total 5 of us. Staff attitude is passable for a empty restaurant when I was there. 2nd attempt at takeaway a few days proven to... More
