I was staying in a local hotel with my two boys and their grandad. The bar food was not great in the hotel and so I googled some local restaurants as we had already eaten in Ennis and decided to look up some nearer places. The Weavers Inn showed up. We took a drive into Newmarket-on-Fergus to have a look... More

Unfortunately reading the first review I think the standards have dropped dramatically since last visited, this evening 15th August 2014 got 2 burgers and chips €26.00. Meal was very poor quality when served to us, the chips were cremated burger overdone, extremely low value for money could not even eat what was served, I am used to eating out, however... More

Staying at a nearby BnB on the night of the PGA final with Rory going for the win. The BnB didn't have the right TV channel, nor was their wifi working. So, our hostess recommended we go to Weavers. So glad we listened. We arrived after Sunday dinner service had ended, but we spent 3 hours there. Bartender was awesome.... More

I have eaten here a few times in the last two years and every time I am amazed at how good it is. I am also amazed how few people from outside the locality know about it. It's all about the food in this place. Forget you are sitting in a pub. If you want fancy surroundings then this is... More

Excellent homely and Indonesian food. Initially you'll be surprised at the menu choice available then you'll be pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. Staff are very friendly, the decor inside is a bit dated but that adds to the character of the place. All the food is cooked fresh so it can take a while from time of... More

On our last night in Ireland, my husband and I, and two friends enjoyed the bar and restaurant at Weavers Inn. Great atmosphere, food and service. The restaurant and bar were divided and one side had a cheery fire going, while the other had a television on for sports fans. We began with pints and wonderful appetizers. I had the... More

After a long day, my family stopped off at the Weavers Inn. We expected the usual pub fair, but were shocked when we got our appetizers and meals. This food is what you'd expect in a dollar restaurant for half the price. The staff are all very warm and welcoming and really makes you feel at home. Definitely one of... More

We've eaten here numerous times, and it has always been fabulous, either in the restaurant or the bar! Down through the years, the weavers has always served amazing food and incredibly reasonable too! The satay is a must-try! Only constructive criticism I can offer, is to deep clean or replace the carpet at the restaurant entrance...it's detracting from a fabulous... More

I'm not sure whether it's a good thing or a bad thing but, I always order the Curry. I'm sure everything else is nice, lots of my family eat there and enjoy other dishes, but how could I go there and not order Curry?? It's great, big portions with great flavour and friendly service. This is definitely a highlight for... More
