We came across this great pub and had one of the best dining experiences in Ireland. We arrived 30 minutes before the restaurant was opened for dinner but were welcomed by the staff who visited with us, explained hurling, let us sit outside in the garden and introduced my husband to what has become his favorite brand of gin (Hendrix).... Enjoyed a lovely lunch last Sunday at the Weaver's Inn, Newmarket-on -Fergus. We hadn't had the pleasure of dining there previously and I was very taken with the whole experience. The ambience was pleasant, the atmosphere friendly and the décor delightfully eclectic. . Obviously there is a regular clientèle and the banter between the diners and servers was nice. The... More

Had a lovely evening meal with my wife in the weavers last week met Francis and John Brennan from the 5* Park Hotel in Kenmare and they also enjoyed their meal. I would definitely recommend the Weavers for a family dinner on a Sunday or a nice evening meal for 2, great food at an affordable price.

We had a nice tasty meal at this local pub in Newmarket-on-Fergus. Staff was friendly and attentive. We were pleased with both service and the food.

I was staying in a local hotel with my two boys and their grandad. The bar food was not great in the hotel and so I googled some local restaurants as we had already eaten in Ennis and decided to look up some nearer places. The Weavers Inn showed up. We took a drive into Newmarket-on-Fergus to have a look... More

Unfortunately reading the first review I think the standards have dropped dramatically since last visited, this evening 15th August 2014 got 2 burgers and chips €26.00. Meal was very poor quality when served to us, the chips were cremated burger overdone, extremely low value for money could not even eat what was served, I am used to eating out, however... More

Staying at a nearby BnB on the night of the PGA final with Rory going for the win. The BnB didn't have the right TV channel, nor was their wifi working. So, our hostess recommended we go to Weavers. So glad we listened. We arrived after Sunday dinner service had ended, but we spent 3 hours there. Bartender was awesome.... More
