Perfect for any occasion

Have eating here many times and we return every time as the food is excellent. Had our daughters christening on this occasion and this was the first time we had a large group. Dealt with Clare over the phone in the weeks approaching and she was very helpful and accommodating. The entire upstairs... read more

Ate here for Sunday lunch with the family. Absolutely beautiful from start to finish. Staff were lovely, food was out of this world as per usual and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The crazy weather outside just added to the whole experience - 4 seasons in one day. Love this place, will be back

I go to this restaurant regularly - when visiting Donegal. It has the most amazing setting - looking straight out onto Lough Swilly, the Buncrana Pier and, on a clear day, the Atlantic Ocean! The owner clearly has superb taste - with the lovely decor, the variety on the menus and the brilliant choice of wines and cocktails. The food... More

We had Sunday lunch in the Beach House on Sunday. It was a freezing, blustery day and we were made most welcome. The staff were quick and efficient. I had the Caesar Salad for starters and it was delicious. There was half a boiled egg at the side of the plate and I couldn't help wondering where the other half... More

Enticed as we were by the dinner menu on line, we were keen to see a view of Lough Swilly (if God was to send one) through the window,so we booked for lunch. And there it was, bathed in sunlight, from Rossnowlagh to the North Atlantic, looking remarkably similar to how it looked sixty years ago when I first dipped my foot in the... The Beach House is my all time favourite restaurant in Donegal. The restaurant itself couldn't be more inviting- so chilled, elegant decor and food that will bring you back time and time again. Last there for NYE, we enjoyed yet another fantastic meal at the Beach House - the prawns are a must try!! The staff are very attentive, and... More

A couple of friends and I went here recently for a 50th birthday celebration and once again we weren't disappointed. It was a cold, wet December evening on entering the restaurant we were greeted by a friendly waitress who welcomed us and showed us to our table by the window overlooking the beach below. Our table was close to the... More

Back for lunch as we did on New Years day this year and enjoyed the window views although again dull and drizzly. Open sandwiches, soup and nice red wine helped lift the gloom! Please beware of the scalding water in the gents; there's no warning sign although I suggested they put one up. Generally its a nice place which I'll... More

Visited the restaurant for light meal only, as we already had dinner plans. It was a wonderful break anyway. Very welcoming place, bright and cosy. Service was great as well. I had a seafood chowder which was absolutely the best I have ever had. Perfectly seasoned, light but yet substantial. The bread that came along was fantastic and so was... More
