This was such a fun experience! The food was delicious, the staff attentive and excellent singers, all of them. I loved eating in the castle. A one-of-a-kind experience, and well worth it. We had mead (be very careful, goes down easy) in the reception, a delicious soup, spareribs, fowl cooked with veggies and potatoes, and a wonderful dessert. Some kind... More

It is fun and the mead is great! Medevil banquet in a real castle. Make sure you go to Durty Nelly's next door afterwards.

Bunratty castle was an unexpected and fun adventure! We saw an advertisement for the castle on late night TV in our Adare Villa room and decided to check it out. The food was good, the entertainment was even better! Decked out for Christmas, the Bunratty village was a holiday dream. Costumed characters greeted everyone, and Santa had a present for... More

This is a great time and a good look at the medieval times, from food, clothing, entertainment and FUN it was all excellent!! The music was beautiful as were the costumes. Lots of laughter and enjoyment for all. A fun part of the evening is the selection of a King!! I was leery about the dinner but the food was... More

I will start off by saying this was my 6th time attending the Banquet / feast ,so what brings me back again and again ! Each visit I brought different friends and family . Not once did anyone say anything other than Wow. From the very entrance into the Medieval Village you are already entering into a different time Zone.... More

I admit that I was skeptical when we purchased tickets. But how many times can you truly have a feast in a real medieval castle? From the start of the evening to the coffee upon leaving, the mead and wine flowed freely. The food was excellent and plentiful. The entertainment only added to the outstanding evening. This evening was so... More

A great evening where you are taken back to a time hundreds of years ago. You are welcomed into the castle as Lord "whatever" and Lady "whatever"and given honey mead to drink. Various musical items of medieval times and some of a more recent time but in the style of old. They are accompanied by violin and/or harp or a... More

Please avoid this "feast" at all costs. My heart goes out to the performers who try to make it an enjoyable evening (and fine voices!). However, the food is tasteless and the "wine" .... let's not even call it wine. Please avoid this!
