Fri nite fish

We had travelled down from Dublin on Friday and between traffic and bad weather we were running late . We had past Dooley s before and always saw a queue . Not bad so we stopped had our fish and chips , my wife had scampi but there was more batter than fish but not bad overall .

My Husband and I were in Tramore this weekend, we come here a lot.. The one thing we always do is get fish and chips from Dooley's. In the past we could not fault it, it was always fresh hot and great portions.. This time we were really disappointed...... ALL BATTER AND NO FISH! The lovely girl behind the counter... More

Dooleys was a comfortable place to sit for dinner. It definitely had an older crowd. The bar closed around 11. The food was good and the service was friendly. The desserts were memorable - try the toffee pudding! The hotel was an ideal place for senor's but we would not recommend it for anyone looking for some good CRAIC.

This is an excellent traditional 'Chipper'. If you are a connoisseur of the traditional Irish 'Fish & Chip' this is the place for you. Local fresh fish is battered and deep fried before your eyes and your potato chips a cooked to a crispy perfection. Make sure you get a portion of mushy peas and possibly a couple of the... More

Visited over a 2 week period , yes there are queues but staff are always friendly, efficient. Good food. Nothing like chips with salt & vinegar and fresh sea air.

The much talked about Dooley's was a huge disappointment. Chps were tasteless and seemed to have been lying around for the day under heat. The fish was average and overall - priced WAY beyond what they are worth. I've had good dinners for what I paid for this.

Probably the most famous and busiest fish and chip shop in Tramore, especially in recent years, there's seldom a time you pass the place that there isn't a massive queue. The good news is that all those customers are not wrong - the food is tasty and the queue moves quickly. There's nothing like enjoying a fish and chip as... More

Dooleys is simply fantastic. You'll struggle to find better fast food and it really is better quality than most. Try the battered sausages, they're particularly nice but all the food is gorgeous

Handy to have so close to home. Have to admit I have a soft spot for their battered sausages. Chips can vary a bit, but if you get them when they are fresh out of the oil, they are yummy. I have rated 'average' as couldn't really stretch to 'very good'. Wish there was a 'good' rating between the two!
