Great chips

There are a couple of Dooley's chip shops in town, but we were told the one on the prom is the best. The chips were excellent, just about the best you'd get from any chip shop. The fish was very fresh, but a touch on the greasy side. Same with the fried chicken. It was really tasty, just a bit... read more

Ordered 2 chicken burger meals and got some blue moulded baps thrown in for free. Both burger baps were blue moulded and the chips were dry and tasted like cardboard. When I took them back to complain they wanted to make me fresh ones, what a joke, im not sure after seeing that how fresh they would have actually been.... More

This is one of the best fish and chip shops in Tramore, always busy which is a good sign always fresh food on the go and very nice staff.

My Husband and I were in Tramore this weekend, we come here a lot.. The one thing we always do is get fish and chips from Dooley's. In the past we could not fault it, it was always fresh hot and great portions.. This time we were really disappointed...... ALL BATTER AND NO FISH! The lovely girl behind the counter... More

We had travelled down from Dublin on Friday and between traffic and bad weather we were running late . We had past Dooley s before and always saw a queue . Not bad so we stopped had our fish and chips , my wife had scampi but there was more batter than fish but not bad overall .

Dooleys was a comfortable place to sit for dinner. It definitely had an older crowd. The bar closed around 11. The food was good and the service was friendly. The desserts were memorable - try the toffee pudding! The hotel was an ideal place for senor's but we would not recommend it for anyone looking for some good CRAIC.

This is an excellent traditional 'Chipper'. If you are a connoisseur of the traditional Irish 'Fish & Chip' this is the place for you. Local fresh fish is battered and deep fried before your eyes and your potato chips a cooked to a crispy perfection. Make sure you get a portion of mushy peas and possibly a couple of the... More

Visited over a 2 week period , yes there are queues but staff are always friendly, efficient. Good food. Nothing like chips with salt & vinegar and fresh sea air.
